Fix your broken game....

For starters im not the only one in the world getting blue screened on this game often with the PS4.. So that problem is not on my end one bit.. That is a game crash error and happens to me and multiple friends I play with often. Second im not the only one with major lag and frame drop in breaches or in the nexus... Third, this is the only game that I currently play that does any of this. Other games I would say net lag but this game is definitely not net lag as for multiple people I've played with and or read on the forums are having these issues. Finally game is fun and enjoyable and could be improved in balance in many areas especially the nexus... The mobs are way over powered and don't get me started on the rares in that area. The way it is currently it would be unplayable in hardcore mode. There is little to no good skills for the Ranger Class and armor armor and evasion are useless on endgame content. You will be one hitted everytime so you might as well not waste time with defence. Im sure if some if these issues got addressed for the PS4 the game would be much more enjoyable. If they could at least fix the issue with the blue screen lag and frame drop that would do the trick. Ultra last I didn't post for help, I posted to state my review of the PS4 versions issues.

He is not wrong, the game is a technical mess on cnosole, don't know why "Anthem" got shit on, PoE is far worse in terms of "performance".

And people who are saying "its fine, I never crashed" screw you honestly, freaking casuals playing 1 hour a day and got no idea what memory leak is and why it doesnt effect them.. to many causals in here spreading wrong informations.

Really? I thought everyone knew. Check it out on google. Anthem got "shit" on because it was literally bricking people's playstations. As in boom, gone, your ps4 is no longer usable. It happened to mine as well. Had to buy a new ps4 pro (was using a regular ps4 at the time but still). Their apology was a refund on the game. For destroying your ps4. A refund, lol. On topic though, to the OP, I've had many crashes yes, but as for evasion and armor and all that not working and the game being too difficult? Not even close honestly. I've been steam rolling content so far up to T14 maps with zero effort. It gets laggy only when I vaal summon. Doesn't really ever lag otherwise. Are you one of those guys that thinks they can just dump points anywhere and and win? I can almost bet you are. Anyone with even a sub optimal build can do well. Check my main's (Necro) equipment. Trash right? Yet I still do just fine.

TL;DR The game isn't the issue here, I believe it's you. Maybe try one of the "meta" builds on poe.builds.

ps: Not trying to insult you or anything like that. Just giving advice.

Im using my very own bow build, sorry not one for using someone elses build ideas, I prefer to play in my style of play then theirs. After all this game is supposed to be built around your play style... Yes evasion is pointless and yes armor is pointless, evasion doesn't evade spells which almost every boss and rare use including hunt bosses.... Armor takes a blow but not usefully at all with bosses and some rares that can literally 1 hit you... So defence is useless might as well just go full on damage. Least you have a chance to kill them before they hit you rather than getting "lucky" from evasion ot armor. But that is just my viewpoint. Game really is broken and unbalanced on the system due to frame rate drops, and blue screening and game crashes. Love just killing along and bam blue screen or dead because of the game running like its on dial up... If these issues get resolved im sure things would be smoother and more enjoyable

May I suggest to approach this a little more constructive and perhaps including some more information regarding your system specs, a dxdiag, an error message or anything really. Nobody can help you like this, willing or not.

Based on this post I am very suspicious that you have played this game on console beyond A few hours here and there. I have been playing on XBOX since it launched for Harbinger league and it has been a hot mess ever since. I would have to write a novel to clue you in on all the issues EVERYONE has experienced. Chris Wilson recently admitted as much.

Quit criticizing people with legitimate issues. GGG needs to prioritize making this game playable on console. They obviously wanted the revenue consoles would bring, but didn't properly calculate the resources required.

Game is like unplayable with some mods. Packs that summong storm obelisk in close maps just makes me get killed. Rollsbsck etc. Took me 2 days to get to 95 just dying cuz rollback or freezes

You only play other peoples characters, your opinion is irrelevant. Especially about "casuals".

Edit: Lol, I just realized you mentioned casuals spreading wrong information. Yet here you are claiming that the frame drops are from memory leaks. There's absolutey no reason for you to think that might be the problem. Also if that were the problem I think it would affect the system as a whole. Like how you turn on Black Ops 3 or 4 and it starts taking 30 extra seconds to go back to the home screen or open the share menu.

There are definite framerate drops happening. Often they seem random. One minute I'll go to town and it'll be butter smooth. The next thing I know, it's stutterific in the same town. It seems there are a few abilities and effects that just really tank performance on the console versions. But it's so random that I can't nail it down.

I can however say without a doubt that Kaom's Dream in Act 4 hitches like crazy to the point of being almost unplayable at times. Something about that area's graphical effects just bring the game to its knees. It probably isn't helping any that even with multithreading, consoles' CPUs are clocked super low. 1.6 GHz for the base PS4, 2.1 GHz for the PS4 Pro, etc. And I do know RAM on consoles is a major constraint. Less so for stash tabe and moreso for graphic effects.

It's still quite a feat that they managed to squeeze this game onto consoles in the first place. But there are definitely places that could be improved upon. It'll likely take GGG some time to learn the quirks and tricks of console hardware just like it did for the Atari, Nintendo, and Sega game developers back in the day.

I'm level 98 on PS4 and have been grinding the game tirelessly. The game is a HOT MESS. A fantastic game, but a shockingly bad implementation of it on PS4. I at least partially attribute this to the developers not having worked on this system before. I still have genuine hope we will see some major improvements when 3.7 launches. Until then, I'm not spending any money on this game other than stash tabs, which are essential if you are really diving in deep. If they do actually fix it, I'll be very happy to buys supporter packs/cosmetics etc, but for the countless lag deaths and crashes this game has delivered, stealing literally days of grind away from me and delivering epic amounts of frustration?!? No way.
