Ah yeah basically you can swap between TS/LA/Ice Shot whenever you feel like, it requires like one gem swap for the most part. Overall I think LA feels the best (I like KB, so it feels the most like that) but when I get bored I swap to Ice Shot for a while. It's basically whatever you're in the mood to use.

Yeah there's a lot of places you can get damage from still. A corrupted Poet's will be very good for DPS but I think you can actually upgrade other spots first (make sure the corrupted Poet's you eventually get has a high atk speed roll)
Also one other thing, ele pen corruption on Poet's is extremely expensive since it's used across many builds; crit Poet's should be approx same DPS but much cheaper since pretty much only this build uses it.
I would probably upgrade the belt to a high WED/life one. You should also incorporate shaper ring + Mark of the Elder soon. That combo should give you significantly more DPS (my playtester put it on and it nearly doubled his DPS).
And then maybe livesearch for an ok corrupted blood jewel so you can run adrenaline on the quicksilver.
Then Corrupted Poet's and Loreweave/watcher's (when they drop in price).

looking for new char for fast clear maps on awaken lvl 8. Will it work solo or i need support ?

It will work solo no problem, but keep in mind at the end of the day this is a ~5-5.5k life Ranger build, so you can't just mindlessly facetank every boss especially metamorph ones. Also the Awakener fight itself requires nailing down the mechanics, so if you're looking for a build more capable of cheesing everything I suggest something else or at least int stacking wander.
Have you done much playing with the new Thread of Hope Jewel? I have a "Very Large Radius" one I placed on the bottom of the tree next to golem's blood. I was able to get Hematophagy and Retaliation. The extra leech feels pretty nice actually and Retaliation is just attack speed and some damage. I'm sure theres tons of awesome tricks for this jewel but i'm not much of a theory crafter!
Hey there; I theorycrafted with it a little; another decent spot is a "Small" ring near Acrobatics. I think it allows you to pick up Silent Steps which is a good defensive boost as well as phase acro? (iirc). I haven't looked at the full range of options yet, but the several radii I checked didn't look too promising mainly b/c you needed to give up a jewel slot, ~30-40% resists, as well as the points required to spec into those notables which means you have to give up a good DPS/life cluster somewhere else. I'll check again in the future though; if you find any other location/radius that seems promising let me know!

Some minor updates to my earlier comments on the build - ran through anything low tier and is now quite comfortably farming up T14s and T15s and planning out for T16s.
Catalysts are a massive QOL for some items we use. If your running belt slot with all damage mods (ele damage specifically) the boost is huge. Look into getting the attack ones minimum for Mark of the Elder. They are currently 1c for 1. 20c is not much to drop into the boost it gives on flat damage.
Metamorphs - don't bother trying to face tank most of them at T14+. I've found it easiest to burst them down to 40-50%, wait for add spawn, proc fortify then clear adds with KB, reposition on metamorph and burst. Makes life a lot easier when you don't just try and dumb rush them down. It is doable but if you have any form of extra life or regen on them it'll be tough. Considering dropping Vaal Haste for Frost Bomb for T15+ lab ones.
Edit: small note, if you do this as above you will sometimes find they spawn adds just after death (animation locked maybe?). Don't mindlessly loot till you're 100% everything is dead. Caught me out twice.
For amulets - if you don't need the int (which you shouldn't with loreweave) then it might be worth having a crack at Jorgin in research for talisman. It does mean you can't use influence bases but every tier is not too bad. %damage, %cold damage, %attack and cast speed, crit multi etc etc. Not sure which tier I'll be trying yet but think its a solid upgrade path.
Current gear is much the same as previous comment, next big upgrades are a Flat Hatred Watchers, Fractal with Enchant and perfect flasks (Oak, ToH Atziri's).
Very nice; Watching my playtester stream league content with this build, I can confirm what you're saying about the metamorph bosses.
One thing to add though is that WoC's cold exposure and Frost Bomb's cold exposure don't stack so you won't get any additional DPS buffs from Frost Bomb.

This build will be able to do almost all content, but as expected from a squishy ~5k life ranger build, there will be deaths if the mod combos are too rippy, and playing tactically will be very important in minimizing those deaths. Pretty much every T15+ boss requires a different technique/approach to defeat, which imo feels more fun and engaging but I can understand why some others would prefer being unkillable and just facetanking instead.
Oh yeah I also watched my playtester do T16 minotaur metamorph boss. That was undoable lol, the boss was outregening the damage. I think some stuff will just be too overtuned to do...
Thats the idea with Frostbomb, not for the damage but for the life regen chop. I had a T15 meta just I could barely dent, frostbomb in off-hand and just weapon swap, drop it, swap back and DPS easily let me RIP through it. Think it's going to be a mandatory gem this league for high level content.

What were you using in your third Poet's Pen socket btw? I wonder if it might be better to just replace the third socket (usually Enhance) w/ Frost Bomb, that way you wouldn't need to worry bout applying Frost Bomb ever. The DPS contribution from Enhance is pretty small (couldn't ever think of a better link for that socket) and I doubt the DPS it gives can even come close to making up for the 1-2 seconds spent to weapon swap for Frost Bomb.

Very nice! I'm getting pretty hyped about this; my playtester is going to go ahead with an int-stacking build in the next day or so too. I think this is a good option for those who love wanding but don't have the patience/mechanics to deal with Awakener on the life version. Since Sirus does so much chaos damage, having 10k+ ES as well as chaos immunity must be extremely nice, not to mention the ES recharge throughout the fight as well. How's your DPS btw? Whenever I did POB comparisons in the past, int stacking always had about half the DPS ceiling of the phys conversion one, but I don't think having ~3m DPS instead of ~5-6m DPS matters as much when you can stand there and mindlessly facetank.

Can drop 500 es for 500k dps by taking the 2 power charges too.
i still need to recraft prefixes on my belt, get 10% int on helm + chest, recraft the wand, get tailwind boots, and slam dmg/15 int on amulet, so ceiling should be quite a bit higher.
But all endgame bosses feel easy at this dps level, since you are so tanky.

Thats a fair shout actually, I'll test that out tomorrow and see how it feels. I'm using Enhance currently as I couldn't think of anything better either. Will report back once it's tested!

I started the build a day ago, followed the guide and struggling a bit with DPS. If anyones free, could you please take a look at my POB and point out what I am missing? I have around 10ex to spend.
Is there any relatively cheap good upgrades besides items in the multiple ex range? I can do any yellow tier map relatively fine but in red maps both clear and survivability is lacking (survivability is kind of a given with 4,8k hp and no loreweave but you get my point).
I would invest more but I've had shitty luck with drops and i'm kind of at a loss on how to gain enough currency to get the bigger upgrades atm as my way of gaining currency kinda went to shit given the new mapping system :^)
