[3.17] Hybrid's Molten Strike Jugg - Hold right click to TANK anything |MELT the Atlas|Divine Flesh|

Okay, so I am considering this for 3.16, and ran a quick comparison of the current tree against the 3.16 tree (manual comparison) and overall there looks to be a need for some revamping.

A number of node changes (as expected) and a very light touch on the otherwise excellent masteries seems to be key issues at this stage (masteries vs. cluster jewels being part of this).

Also, did you check out the new unique shield? We could potentially run a 6L or even 9L setup in MS with a good enough rare. There are so many potentials with the new uniques/Passive tree masteries.


cant see any reason for using this shield.
the helmet would get us the 6L we need and it can be crafted to be a 7L and even elevated immolate for more power.

Grelwood is still BiS and nothing can really replace it yet.
but it is something i looked into.

also the shield by itself is bad and you lose a lot of defense for not using a proper shield.

i think this patch we are not going to use cluster jewel except Natural Affinity.
we can probably get leech from another source.

I think that is the most sensible yeah, hopefully we will get a POB out in the next couple of days so its more workable to dig into the tree, but so far, I think things are looking good!

So, this is how far i've gotten when trying to play this build on 3.16

No clue if I am missing nodes which are manditory but it's a start.

Also not sure on the born to fight and heart of warrior in the beginning. We could ditch it and go straight to juggernaut but we need to go down for the res and ailment node.

Since I'm somewhat familiar with the build in general due to having a nebulochs ms jugg I'd imagine it shouldn't be too hard to start the new league with this. Anyone know the damage difference between dual nebulochs and this build? Tankier or about the same? With new armor buffs this build should be in a decent spot. Damage still good enough for maven invitations and such with the essence crafted helmet?
I have tried both dual Neb's and this build for MS. Full disclosure, I'm not super high end. Usually only kill A8 a few times and call it. But in my experience, this version is tankier than dual Neb's.
When updating to 3.16 you most likely you will need to do do some manual edits because the current version has the entire Steadfast wheel marked in red and I believe we want to take that wheel along with the mastery skill "Melee hits Fortify / -3 to maximum fortification". Probably the same for Rampart + Fortify Mastery "+3 to maximum Fortification". We could pay for these by sacrificing a little life maybe?
