[3.17] Hybrid's Molten Strike Jugg - Hold right click to TANK anything |MELT the Atlas|Divine Flesh|
https://youtu.be/pxnPgc1NUXs
@Destrctodave I have similar setup with this guy with not even proper flask setup. Trying out the build so far and my gear isnt even that great. I feel I melt Minoutar faster than this guy on the video. No offence to the guy in the video. What do you mean by single target is bad?? Maybe need to try grelwoods, I have also tried nebuloch and it was shit for me as well in dps and clear speed. Right now with my setup I have 0.10 attack speed which is 9.1 per sec which almost makes me feel like the old multistrike before 3.7 update. Also LGOH is crazy with this one lol. Feels like old vaal pact for me. Im no pro with this game so it might be just me but overall this build feels pretty strong imo. Please help me understand here. Thanks. Hi. I'm new to the game and I'm wondering if this build good for Delirium league? Build looks awesome and I feel like I want to start with it this 3.10 league
|

Hi. I Really enjoying this build in 3.10
Thanks for making the guide. One question: Since you are using Grelwood Shank Eternal Sword and a Lioneye's Remorse Shield why did you take Dervish? I'm I missing something? |

" The other guy killed Minotaur in Delirium Mist; it makes monsters tougher, do more dmg, overall much harder. Debuffs the player, too. You are playing on Standard; of course you probably killed Minotaur faster than the other guy's video. Delirium buffs mobs considerably. The single target is bad to compared to other builds. I play 2 different builds; I can actually compare pretty easily. For instance, my Nebuloch Jugg does 769k per ball. So best case scenario, 7-8m Shaper DPS. Here's my PoB: https://pastebin.com/Kxem2AyH And thats best case scenario, every ball hitting. And that doesnt happen. Sounds ok. In practice its much worse, because: your flasks dont last forever, and all the balls dont hit. You may not ever even notice it, until you play something faster. Then, when you arent even seeing boss mechanics because they die in 5-6 seconds, you start to understand the difference in speed. Here's my Pathfinder: https://pastebin.com/FPBZ5p3z 18.6m Shaper DPS. And Poison isnt even that great at killing bosses because it has a ramp up time, but its significantly faster than my molten strike guy, and at 770k dmg per ball, he isnt terrible. And I've tried Grelwoods. I personally dont think swords will out-damage Nebulochs to any real degree without going crit. Matter of fact, I put 2 perfect rolled ones on my guy in PoB(mine arent perfect rolled in game), and 2 mediocre elemental damage(35%)/fire dmg rings(11-21) on him: 556k dmg per ball. so 7-8m Shaper DPS. Lol the exact same damage, and a higher cost for rings/weapons. Also, Endurance Charge on Stun becomes a pretty strong Skill Gem for Nebulochs; its a 40% more multiplier because of 10 charges. Nebuloch 770k for 10, 7.7m ball dps. Grelwoods 556k for 14, 7.7m dps. I only think swords are going to really out-damage when you go crit and another ascendancy. You dump overload, and all the templar points, and go into ranger sword crit and dw crit nodes, and then take a dps class like Zerker. Then, you will start to really out-damage nebulochs with good gear. I mean maybe PoB is off in its calculations in some degree, but I cant see it being that big of a difference without going crit. Just the single target isnt great, and falls off a cliff when the pots run out anyways. This is just my opinion, though, after playing around with this guy. Its an ok build. I think I was just seriously disappointed in its single target damage when I made him to soak up boss fights so I didnt waste XP on my main character. So, I probably judged him too harshly. At the time, I didnt have his damage scaled up near as much as I do now, either. I think the Mob Mentality cluster jewels are the way to go. Especially for map clear speed. Thats where the Rallying Cry really boosts your DPS, and the max Rage is just a nice bonus, too. So I will say, hes not AS bad as I previously said, but hes the worse of the 2 characters I made this league. And his single target just feels weak. I mean I dont even need to see the numbers in PoB to know it; one character I dont even see a single mechanic from an elder slayer, on Molten Strike guy I have to see mechanics. Pretty cut and dry difference without looking at any numbers. As far as map clearing goes, Grels will feel better because leap slam sucks. But I think the damage and clear is about the same from playing both. Whirling Blades is far more enjoyable to use than Leap Slam. But, I think you are way more tankier with Nebulochs because of the 20% reduced elemental damage taken and max Chaos Resistance. Last edited by Destructodave on Apr 24, 2020, 12:33:24 AM

I've been looking in the post and the FAQ (didn't read all 300 pages of comments), but what do you think about Molten Shell instead of Immortal Call for this build?
| |
" CWDT-Immortal Call-Vaal Molten Shell is what I run. |
|
is there a better option (DPS) of supporting skills before full build?
|
|
How does this build and Sirus with Awakener 8?
| |
This build is definitely not newbie friendly or hold-onto-right-click-and-win.
POB: https://pastebin.com/yLtB2GPp I started POE this league so I was tweaking almost every day because I'm dumb lol. The Large cluster I would've liked the unused notable to be Calamitous but I got lazy. Initially started with going leech and more recovery (Drive the Destruction-esque) then transitioned to life gained on hit + poacher's mark ring. Did Sirus 5 yesterday and let's just say it doesn't melt face as fast as a ranged caster simply because you have to be relatively close to target and the magma balls spread. Same for Guardians and other bosses with mechanics that creates space between player and boss (AOEs, teleports) Mapping is no problem, same problems with bosses that have OTKO skills, highly damaging spells, etc. Unless the author suggests that 9k HP is some sort of sweet spot for not getting OTKOed, I don't suggest facetanking unless you can melt the boss within cooldowns. And corpse popping kills you, so you need to constantly be moving. All in all, a very satisfying build to play BUT the gameplay style required isn't as simple as hold-right-click. The biggest problem is being OTKOed because of having to be adjacent to enemies and bosses, and this in and of itself is enough for me to not go this route next league.
