On the helmet: if I can only find a helm with 2 of the 3 ideal stats, which would be the best 2? (Immolate, Conc. Effect, additional projectiles)

Stupid crafting questions:

- I see that Essences of Horror are trading for about 1-3 chaos each. Do you have any wild-a**** guess on how many might be needed? I've never had much luck crafting, so I usually avoid it unless it makes too much sense not to.

- When you use an Essence of Horror on the Burgonet with +2/+3 to projectiles, I'm assuming that stat won't be overwritten by the Essences? And Scouring orb to clean off a bad roll?

Deities: are you also using Arakaali and Shakari?

Have you ever fought Sirius with this build? I'm about ready for my first fight and was wondering how survivable it is with the big boss and if there are things I should be doing, looking out for, etc.?

Have you ever considered replacing Kaom's with a high armour/life roll, getting an Enlighten 4, and moving the associated gems to the chest? Not sure if that would accomplish anything, but I was still curious...

Immolate + Conc effect does more damage than enchant alone in my opinion.

If you craft, the enchant stays of course.

For crafting you can use craftofexile.com

For bossing I use Arakaali + Ryslatha.

Kaom's is the BiS for this build, since you can run a 7L helmet.

Hello - I have a question about possibly changing the prefix craft on my helmet (yeah, I know the enchantment need changing, too):




I have the possibility to change the "Evasion + Life" to a few things that interest me more. Some possibilities:

* Armour + ES + evasion + life

* +1 AoE gems, increased AOE

* +1 to projectile gems, projectiles pierce an addition target

* +1 to melee gems, +1 to melee strike range


Again, I don't fully understand the implications, but if I'm trying to improve damage (I seem quite tanky already), would selecting the "+1 to projectile gems, pierce an additional target" help me take out end game bosses better? Or would one of the other possibilities work better?


Also - have to add my $0.02 to what @ytoh89 said - this build is fantastic! I'm rolling through T16 maps with Shaper/Elder guardians just fine. Took out the Minotaur yesterday in a fight that can only be called "embarrassing" for the bad guys. I guess it's hard to find good help these days...

There is just not a lot of damage in this build, friend. Ive played Nebuloch, Grelwood, turned him into a beserker for a bit, went some crit, didnt matter.

Molten Strike is just a low DPS skill. Clear speed is weak, single target is weak. Its just a weak skill this league, IMO.

So if you are wanting to do some 5-10 second boss kills, or super map clear speed, its time to look for another build and use this one to farm the currency for that one.

I went with Molten myself to afk sirius, which really doesnt happen, sadly enough. My Viper Strike/Pest Pathfinder can tank all the same hits that Jugg can, and do 100x the damage. The jugg cant tank any hit that the Pathfinder cant; which sorta makes him pointless. Better off blitzing him down then "trying" to face tanking mechanics.

But with that side rant out of the way, I'll offer some help(I still playing mine for now cause he delves well). About to roll up another class, but so far Molten weakest of my 2 characters by a mile.

On to help:

Your lethal pride jewel seems wasted. Its only touching 2 notables. I cant see what its giving, but would it not be better down in the Marauder jewel area?

Your Large cluster jewel isnt really doing anything. Until you get a better one, I'd just drop it completely and put your medium jewel in that slot. I feel like there is a lot better ones you can get; it should be pretty cheap to get one with like Feed the Fury, Fuel the Fight, X(can be Martial Prowess, Smite the Weak, whatever you like). The current one you are using is just doesnt offer much for that amount of points used. Also, I'd use a 2 slot small cluster; 3's arent worth it. And I think Fettle, Prismatic dance, etc is better to use than Feast of Flesh.

You went too far into the Witch area. I think those points should be in Duelist. You dont really need all that tankiness and shield block, you went Jugg for that. I think you are better off going into the duelist area for attack speed and a bit better damage, and some of the other nice things there. None of those points in the Witch area are really doing anything for you.

Your jewels could be better. The one Mara area is another super defensive jewel with life and block chance on it. I dont think you need that block chance; damage is what you, and the build is lacking. Id get jewels with attack speed, life, and then stuff like projectile damage, fire damage, etc.

You dont need that many life flasks. You can trade some of those out for some DPS flasks. Dying Suns are really cheap right now. Just make sure and get one that had some reduced charges so you can use it twice. Even a plain Sulfur flask is some damage, and try to trade out your normal silver flask for a Cinderswallow Urn. Id just use 1 life flask at most.

You could also start working on a helm. I went a with a different build(no shaper helm) but thats gonna be an end-game upgrade for you; a helm with the enchant on it. I hear they are really expensive, so you will probably have to craft one. Just get a base with the enchant and slowly work on it after you get all your other stuff sorted out. Horrors are surprisingly cheap this league, 4c right now. You could also just try a 6l armor and a normal helm with the enchant on it, and see which you like better until you can work up to the one you want.

Lastly, you can get a belt that has an open prefix so you can put some elemental damage on it.

Its in the pathfinder sub-forum. Tornstein's guide for all poison skills. I was gonna do a vid just to show people the difference but been busy.

I havent gave up on the molten striker yet. I turned him cyclone for a bit last night but changed him back. I'm trying a new jewel setup after looking at some guides and taking inspiration from them.

Using Mob Mentality jewels. Instead of medium jewels with repeater and eye for eye, I'm using Mob Mentality and Haunting Shout, and Mob Mentality and Cry Wolf. And took Battle Cry on the tree, and have Rallying Cry on my mouse 1 spamming for more dmg.

So far it feels better than the previous projectile damage cluster setup. I may try Grelwoods later; I play Nebulochs with Sporeguard. But, I have some Grelwoods because I've been trying to make this build work.

Now, I dont know if the single target is going to be any better with this setup, but mapping feels better. I'm gonna spawn some elder slayers and sirius and find out. I tried out natural affinity, but I cant stand that slow feeling. The only way I could use that is if I was using Grelwoods and whirling blades, and even then maybe not. I think what I'd like to do is get a jewel with overlord on it, so you can get rid of needing a travel skill to proc fortify, and that would allow the use of Dash. Then, you could freely use Natural Affinity since dashes break all the vines and doesnt slow you down.

Ive done a ton of regretting on this guy, lol. Hes been cycloning, more dmg, a beserker, back to jugg, and various other things. I hate leveling so I just keep changing this guy into things to see what I like.

But Mob mentality jewels and rallying cry spam feels pretty good for mapping right now. I got some endurance charge boots, gonna take off these slog Koams and see how that feels; can then probably squeeze a HH on him and the test between characters feel more fair. But his single just doesnt feel good; entire reason i made him.
