[3.17] Hybrid's Molten Strike Jugg - Hold right click to TANK anything |MELT the Atlas|Divine Flesh|
" .... | |
Bit different setup than this build, but this is really the only Molten Strike Jugg build on the forums to share with, this is my setup for clearing simulacrum level 20s easily, and tanks pretty much everything else in the game, could be even tankier if you used purities. Cheap build too, spent like less than 10ex on all my gear with the exception of my dual vitality watchers eye which was 18 by itself, rest of the gear is cheap.

Chaelp - am trying your build, but have a question:
How do you get the "right" jewel for lethal pride? I'm always confused on how to find the exactly correct jewel to provide the affect needed. Thanks Edit: Btw, you got a bargain on your Watcher's Eye. Nearest one I can find costs 12+ ex right now... Last edited by Haverhill on Apr 18, 2020, 6:42:44 PM

" I paid 18ex for mine so, they must have gotten cheaper if you found it for 12. I just bought any lethal pride and divined it until i got good nodes, your looking for phys and extra fire, fortify effect, reduced crit taken, inc strength, just anything good for the build on most of the nodes.
" Also life on hit with vitality is way better than life recovery, i saw which one you were using.
" Apparently you are running completely different items and tree, so I cannot really help you there. I never played a Nebuloch build. Molten Strike calculations in PoB never worked properly afaik, first of all you have to enable stuff on Configuration page to get closer numbers. As for endgame bosses (read as Sirus, Uber Elder) you don't really need a shield, the health pool si already around 8K if geared properly, so nothing can really oneshot you at that point. |

Just got my char wearing his "big boy gear". I'm only lvl 78, but from the feel of this I should be able to lvl fast.
Forgive me if this has been brought up before, this post has many pages and I'm not sure how to isolate my search to them (Is there a way???). What do you think about using a thread of hope jewel in the socket to the left of the templar start point? Using one with a large radius, I'm able to allocate divine wrath, divine judgment, divine fury, and sanctum of judgement for a total of: 42% increased ele dmg 24% increased phys dmg (adds to ele with our build right??) 6% fire dmg over time 5% ele resist penetration 10% increased effect of non-damaging ailments (wraith curse ring?) 5% phys as extra fire 20% Reduced dmg from crit strikes. 30% increased armor 20% reduced effect of curses on you. This doesn't cost too many skill tree points. SECOND: What enchants/corruptions do people like? I have 50% reduced crit dmg on chest, trigger edict of reflection when hit on gloves, and allocates arsonist on ammy. Not sure how much the chest increases tankiness, but the glove enchant seems to be pretty awesome, and arsonist seems like a good passive.
" Thanks for replying. The build you looked at was my attempt to increase damage, as demonstrated by @chaelp, with his double Nebuloch build. While it's quite fun to play as well, my life pool hovered at 5k, which means occasional one-shots, and a few unnecessary deaths if I didn't close quickly enough to the most dangerous pack either on or off the screen. So, I reconfigured the character to look like it does in the original build. I know the helm could use improvement, but the only helm I've seen in a couple of weeks that has Immolate, Concentrated Effect, and additional projectiles enchantment costs 30 ex, and that's out of my league. I'm sure one of the rings isn't good enough and a couple of jewels could use swapping out. Current stats: 8465 life, 11750 armour (18705 stationary), max resists (F=105, C=91, L=84; Chaos=-15). Immune to stun, 33% chance to block attack. Appreciate it if you could take another look. I promise, I won't change the build until you do. Thanks! " Tribal Fury is what you want to have annointed on your amulet, at least for mapping. The helmets are expensive, yes, but you can buy +2/+3 base Eternal Burgonet 86 Elder and try to craft it with Essences of Horror. Otherwise it looks good. |
