[3.7] A Little Outdated - Crit - CONSECRATED PATH - Chieftain - League Starter

Hi everyone,

I love this build, but i have a problem of mana...
I did every mini boss of elder but i can't kill him currently.

WHat is the problem of my build / tree ?

I have 5k HP, maybe i need more level ? I can't kill easily a boss of t13+.

Is anybody able to tell me whats wrong with my build? I feel extremely squishy, have mana issues, and cant get resist capped.

I have the money to buy a 6L loreeave, but if I do that my cold and light res will be like mid 30s despite what I thought was good gear.

Do I just need a better helm and better boots if im going to run loreweave?

Also even with my very expensive foils I still feel as-if my DPS is very low (comes up on the tooltip above the skill as about 140k)

So been playing this build and having a lot of fun with it, but I feel it kind of crapped out in mid red maps because it was just too squishy and died too much.

Randomly, I just swapped out consecrated path for tectonic slam, and the build is doing wonders. Just blew threw T15 maps no problem - I imagine it can even do shaper.

I was about to start my 2nd char for the league, but with the tectonic slam discovery, I'm going to keep on cruising and see how it ends up.

@frizzle11 can you share your character and with what you linked tectonic slam? I am also interested in using other skills then consecrated path with this build. Maybe there are even other skills, which are doing more then already consecrated path.

Hey i was wondering how damage on full life works with onigoroshi + blood rage degen

Hey I just came in to say that this build so far has been a Smash Hit with me and friends that are trying it out. ;)

I'm still leveling around 50ish atm , but it is a great feeling to play this. aside from 3 deaths because i got lazy and decided to facetank things i could not facetank , this has been an incredibly fun experience.
If I knew how to link my gear/char I'd do that, but I'm a dum-dum. XD

Your characters are set to private so we can't see your gear. Generally, yes though. With Loreweave, you'll need to get more resistances on helm/boots/belt, and if possible, on the rings/jewels as needed. "Ramako, Sun's Light" should cover most of your Fire res needs.

You can swap Tectonic directly for Con Path. Both are heavy physical based attacks that convert 50% plus to Fire. Literally just swap the main skill. The new Tec Slam is fun, much improved. If you can keep End Charges up against bosses, it's decent, but still not great single target.

I'm in mid red-tier maps and still prefer the teleport ability of Con Path

As long as your regen is higher than your degen, DoFL works.

Would it be a good idea to take sword bleed nodes on the left? There seems to be a lot of ailment buffs in nodes alredy taken, and melee damage support kinda helps too.
Possibly swapping efeeble to vulnerability and using Haemophilia, although it goes a little tangent I suppose.

Best option is to plug your character into Path of Building and see what the numbers tell you.

You can go life nodes if you still feel squishy.

If you want damage, I think Brutal Blade (right side of the tree) in the sword cluster is the strongest for 4 points. Lots of physical damage and attack speed, plus some bonus block chance.

Fencing by Twin Terrors in the Duelist/Ranger area is strong if you need more crit and some phys damage.

running this build and loving it. not having any issues.

cheap replacement for loreweave is bronn's Lithe. Same damage boost (i think i lose 5k total dps on 550k (no flasks) from not having a loreweave at the cost of a buttload of ex that i don't want to spend.

the i don't like the POB numbers posted for this, for most bosses you won't have frenzy or power charges. it's overinflated the dps output expectancy.

That said i've had zero issues up to t12 maps outside of the stupid CP bug into a fortification in betrayal then not being able to hit anything.


The totem is uber important in this build. you must have your warchief up during bosses.


Total investment of around 2ex i have 550k real dps on trash 350k on shaper due to most of the time not having frenzy charges.

I've considered going brass dome to have 75 all resists and 75 physical damage reduction to be a giant tank. I'll have to see how it feels.

during leveling and early maps it helped a lot to have all 6 leach nodes. I've since reallocated them.
