So, I ended up changing the build a bit. I couldn't get the explosion part to deal enough damage, so I dropped that and just went full on DoT (which... really didn't change the tree much).

I dropped Aspect of the Eagle and Deadly Draw. I went to grab Skill Effect Duration (For Phase Run more than Caustic Arrow/Decay to be honest), and more Jewel Nodes. I already have 30k on a +2 to bow gems ->4<- Link, with Decay NOT included on the tooltip. I have more than enough damage, especially when I eventually get a 5-6 Link. Survivability is king at the moment. Might go for Bravery Cluster instead of 2 3-point jewel nodes, idk.
We need those Jewel nodes for each inch of life we can get! Currently at 6.2k at lvl 84.
Also, guys, PHASE RUN, grab it. It's so damn good for Delve, slap an incrased duration on it along with the Skill Effect Duration and you basically have a perma Quicksilver that stacks with real Quicksilvers.
Also, Panicked and Seething flasks for when you venture into the Delve Darkness.
Are you using the scorp ? In case, how are you keeping it up longer ?

I'm Using Herald of Agony yes, you need the Virulence Ascendancy to really keep him up. Doesn't have much uptime VS bosses. If he didn't do good damage on his own, I'd consider dropping him for AA or a 35% aura.

Because in the end you're firing a single(!) Caustic Arrow without any inc. AoE, Chain or anything clearspeed related.
Nature's Reprisal Keystone gives us 50% increased AoE, and we pierce 3 times, each pierce makes more Caustic Ground.
you dont have any despair curse on hit setup?personaly im using a barrage-GMP-CoH-despair so i have a virulence single target generation+ and curse on hit.you do have witchfire brew but on boss that last for some time, you cant have it up much
for the tree i personaly droped revenge of the hunted (to much pts used for so less) and take bravery (on duelist starting area) for 10 int-atk speed and 2% more life.also why did you choose to drop deadly draw draw?atk speed and dmg over time is pretty damn good

herald of agony isnt great. too much investment to make it worth it.
Just run another reservation like grace and blasphemy+despair or something.
Also if not running HoAg then pathfinder seems lackluster. Raider has so much QoL.
CA is best scaling the DoT still. I dont think anything else is really going to be that great.

before making a proper herald of agony setup, yes the crawler suck but after...make it 4 link, get 20% qual on it for the inc mouvement speed and get hight virulence,it does some serious dmg.
well its quite simple....if you are using caustic arrow or any poison skill.
nature reprisal-master toxisct-nature boon and for the last one you can go master alchiist (this one will give you imunit to all ele alignement when using flask so you dont have to roll any anti freeze,ignite and thing like that on flask wich is awsome) or nature adrenaline if you want so mouve and atk speed.
