Molten Strike itself is buffed.
Wildfire limited to 1. As expected, top molten strike enchant is +2 proj. Overall nerf? Math men/ladies where are you? Edit: Also a big +60 ES in the Essence Surge cluster. I was able to clear 1.3-1.4 million DPS fully buffed with blade flurry.
Unbuffed w/just Frenzy charges was 800k dps. Granted, I feel like I left a bunch of damage on the table just due to my jewels being "okay". I didn't grab the watchers eye until, like, 3 days left in the league. Dropping Death's Door for my bossing boots got me to 11.9k ES. The difference between doing Uber Elder with 9.7-10.1k ES vs. 11.9k ES, at least for me, is very noticeable since you can get away with lower dps the tankier you get. Granted, I suck at Uber Elder fight. I probably did 15 Uber Elders this league, and for the first 10 I think I used almost every portal. The last 5, I was able to get away with just using 1 or 2. With this league, I'm expecting ES levels to maybe be not quite as good due to not quite as many fossils available. I still haven't figured out what improvements ES will get the tree yet so who tf knows? Maybe it will be an even trade; better flat ES on tree vs not quite as good ES on gear. If Incursions are available at a decent amount, we'll get +ES%/Flat ES on rings so jewelry will be better. Biggest regrets for delve: - Took me too long to learn Uber Elder fight. - Sold a 12%attributes/%Damage Per Int/Open Suffix for %ES ammy for only 4ex. #1: I should've sold it for more. #2: I should've actually used it. At the time, I had barely cleared 8k ES and I was desperately trying to get above 9k ES and foolishly traded away that ammy instead of going for flat ES abyss jewels. I mean, the strategy is right there on page 1 when grizzly40 talked about going for them instead of using old school jewels. I was so slow to catch onto that and giving away that amulet for so little cost me roughly 200k dps in exchange for an extra 500 ES. Fucking ouch. - Took me too long to realize I need to start playing tanky builds vs. glass cannon builds. Ignoring negative status ailments in this game is such a luxury, I don't know how I can go back to your average BV/Glass Cannon Melee builds. Luckily, with stat sticks getting the dumpster fucking they are getting in Betrayal, the temptation is roughly 50% less. |
