" I don't get why evasion/dodge isn't more popular tbh. 63% evasion(+blind), 40dodge 30spell dodge without flasks or vaal grace and you are able to run around without getting hit basicly. " I think most of us were just fine with the evasion based play for awhile, but we all dealt with the occasional one shot and it was frustrating. It usually wasn't a 2 or 3 shot, but that we would just instantly die without any time to react, even with 6.5-7k health + 1k ES. (maybe some day we'll get a death log) Going this route, we get to react and are able to take a few hits, thus making our survival, especially in rippy maps, that much easier. In theory anyway. Of course, YMMV, but that's the gist of where we're taking v2 of this build. | |
" Desecrate level doesnt matter anymore, only your RS level counts. And i did some testing with a Poachers Mark ring, it works in general, enemies are just dead before my arma brand or holy flame totem can apply it, the new curse on hit setup in V2 will probably suffer from the same problem. Crafted this shield and gloves,really liking the v2 tree,im using a conductivity on hit ring and arm brand with curse on hit temp chains,i find myself rarely casting armageddon brand though,thinking of swapping temp chains for another dmg increase curse for bossing | |
" You and I are on the same page. It just doesn't seem like the curses are as necessary if you're pushing the min-max potential of this build. You don't need any more damage, so it seems negligible. Besides, bosses have 80% less curse effectiveness, thus a curse for boss damage seems unnecessary too. And if trash already blows up, and it's boss encounters and rippy maps we're most concerned about, we should aim to deal with that primarily imo. With 5 spectres, they could each do 350-500k damage each and would still blow stuff up, but we all know the damage right now is more in the 800k-1.5m range. They just delete things. But your crafts look really really good, and well worth the investment. The extra hp goes so well with the v2 tree. I wonder how much hps you could regen if you stacked it? The v2 tree in general opens up so many possibilities for ehp, mitigation and recovery. Some items in this post are currently unavailable.

can u post a different variant of armors while using PoH build because the +1 spectre armor is too expensive for me atm

Hey, just want to thank you for this awesome build!! Having a blast in just steamrolling and demolishing everything. Even T16 is a joke, this is crazy!
Could I kindly ask you guys to give me a little gear check? Trying to boost survivability (mine, minions never die honestly). My dmg is fine atm. Sure, the obvious things would be a +1 spectre chest and a new helmet, but those are quite pricey. Currently have 8ex saved up to buff my little necro to Overload Mode :) Here my current gear, crafted the boots myself, was pretty lucky I think. Any obvious changes I need to do? TYVM

I decided to go with a elder staff with +2 to all spell skills and a +2 crafted socketed support gem. Add the level 4 Empower gem with everything else and you have Raise Spectre 91 with 6 Spectres. Having 6 Slave Drivers or 5 SD with Chief Ape is pretty nice and a massive dsp boost. I know I sacrifice the shield, but i just enjoy the extra Spectre.

" I crafted my own +1 spectre armor. I only spent ~4.5ex on this chest: 1. Buy a +1 spectre base that has INT and 2 open affixes (mine cost 20c) 2. Use 1 or 2 annul orbs on the base til you have desirable affixes left. (I wanted to hit 2 open prefixes for life and life gained as ES and an open suffix for the multi-mod) 3. Link and multi-mod craft as you are able to afford it. Just from playing, I was sitting on a few annul orbs and several hundred fusings. I bought some extra fusings, spent 2 ex on the multi-mod craft and had an amazing base to start with. I know the cold res on my chest sucks, but I didn't wanna chance the 50/50 and have to start over. Besides, I still have 1 more open suffix I can use for later, and resists aren't really a problem with this build. Of course, YMMV, as it may take a few bases and 6-8 annul orbs to get it done, but you can do it on a budget, as long as getting the 6L and your annul rng is decent. No need to spend 8ex+ on a base that's done for you, as long as you don't mind doing the work yourself and are ok rolling the dice. | |
have been burning currency to crafting all day long, but getting there. Still doesnt know half of the things about summoner things, but have been fun to level and mapping.
