You don't really need charges. If you do want them, though, get Carnage Chieftain as the 5th spectre. There are more options in v2. If you want an extra layer of defense, you switch to Mistress and use Bone Offering. I did change the tree a bit https://pastebin.com/Q6gJKywE @kayella if you can check it out and tell me what you think.
