[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build


Does Bottled Faith boost our minions? Also, does the "increased damage taken to enemies" apply for enemies who are hit by our minions?
So I read about https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2108003/page/184 zombie build, respecced to it (wanted more clearspeed and defences), but the clearspeed wasnt much faster and bosses/metamorph damage felt really lacking compared to this build (wasnt using skellies, just zombies). I picked up some things tho, got some strengh stacking, baron helmet and shapers touch gloves - tons of ES, survivabilty improved by a large margin, with 900k damage melee splash skellies. Can get ~2-3k more ES with geofris and watchers eye for clarity/discipline, sacrificing like 200k dps. POB https://pastebin.com/nELeckp7

That's a completely different build at that point though.

This build is life based for starters, and with modifications to the tree that people have been discussing over the past 30-40 pages, we are taking impale and other things to potentially:

Get over 1mil dps PER skeleton, up to 11-12 skeles.
Max res of 80/79/79/78
Phys dmg reduction around 50-60% depending on gear and if using Ahn's Shield.
8-10k health depending on gear.

Other way around. I probably worded it poorly. I swap in Multistrike on bosses instead of melee splash. I use it the same way, splash for clear, multistrike for bosses.

That's probably on me though for typing like a goon. Writing was never my strong suit. Sorry for the confusion.

Does anyone have a PoB of swapping from main build to Impale/Pride? I'd just like to see kinda what's going on before I dive in.

I assume your run over to pain attunement was to pick up the Doryani jewel? If so your ehp is still pretty low with not much in the way of defenses.

What particularly are you having problems with on Sirus? Your damage seems fine. If you're dying to beams, not much is going to save you from that outside of getting better at dodging them.

One thing i can recommend is a jewel with "Corrupted Blood cannot be inflicted on you" as it helps remove that mechanic entirely.

So:
phase 1 is simple
phase 2 is simple
phase 3 is already more complicated (exactly the rays that you can estimate very badly, because I die in between. ) the damage should be enough, she says, I think that's good :)

so I need to work on my movement more.

I have been playing a similar skeletons build but with slave drivers and zombies with maim. I would like your input on this because id really like to know if its bad, good or just mediocre and what i could improve on it. Im pretty new so i keep coming back to my necro when trying to push red maps since its super safe and easy
