[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build

Because you are not using fork of Path of Building. Standard one does not show Impale.

Also as for tabula upgrade... Whe you go cheap route you can grab for 20c 6-link

It is 20c on marlet, have 6 link and have res + life. MUCH better than tabula :) for almost same price!
Does the -10% to total phys damage reduction on awakened brutality support work with the minions?
In Path of Building i see no Damage when i add the Brutality Gem, what do i do wrong? When i remove it i see the Damge Calculation.

Why did you anoint Ravenous Horde instead of Indomitable Army? Actually -- looking at your passives, you didn't even go for Indomitable Army. Is this considered the better way to go?

A couple of reasons. First is that I was already planning on grabbing the jewel slot to the left of witch start so from there it was only 5 passive points to Aligned Spirits as opposed to the 7 to Ravenous horde.

Second, if I path to Ravenous Horde or Aligned Spirits, the damage was pretty much the same for me. So I figured the extra 2 passive points could be used elsewhere to more effect.

Indomitable Army only gives some survivability via resists and damage reduction. Skeletons are expendable and die with or without Indomitable Army. The other minions very rarely die for me so I didn't see a need to get them more survivability and opted instead for more DPS in Aligned spirits. I don't think its "THE" way to go, but it's just a choice i made.

What is it that makes you have 40 skellies at some time?

That would be Vaal Summon Skeletons. It just summons a bunch of them when you hit that.

Good enough for me. I think I'm going to copy your Dread Banner setup, although I worry that flame dash is going to feel awful without the Faster Casting. Not sure what to do with my amulet now -- your pathing seems more efficient, but I don't know if I trust my guys to stay alive all that long.
Hello .... How to have two Carrion Golem at the same time ??? I have Golem Commander ..... Thx

After "huge" reflection ..? I found .... sorry for my stupid question .... Happy New Year to the Community

For sure. Some people won't like the slower casting of Flame Dash and I can understand that. You can always drop Enhance and slot in Faster Casting instead. It won't lose you that much damage, but I felt fine on Flame dash without faster casting so I figured I'd just slot in Enhance to eek out a little bit more damage.
Here comes a short recap about my experience so far with the build. Still lots to do (especially want to try impale setup) but it feels strong.

I'm currently sitting on 230.000 damage per skeleton (have 14).

Not much is different from the build guide. I'm running a Pride gem in an Unset ring, which gives about 38.000 extra damage per skeleton, at the cost of 50% reserved mana. Also, my zombies are aggressive (Frenzy instead of Meat shield gem). They do much less damage than skeletons (only about 34.000 per zombie), but in a way this setup works out defensively, since they take away aggro from me when they run ahead, and I haven't recasted skeletons yet. Also, I run Soul of Shakari instead of Gruthkul because of the levels of poison and chaos damage in this league.

Defensively it also feels very strong.
- 5600 from pure health
- 200 from Mind over Matter (669 mana*0.30). I still feel running MoM is worth a skill point even though I have 50% mana reserved.
- 2200 from Bone Armor buff.
- 2100 Energy Shield rising to 3100 when Spirit offering triggers. The reason for such a large energy shield is due to a Glorius Vanity Timeless Jewel in the leftmost socket as mentioned in the build guide. Without the jewel my energy shield is 682. After trying a few jewels I got one with extra life notes too. Highly recommended an in honesty feels a tad OP. The downside is that 50 percent of non-chaos damage bypasses energy shield. But since most of the hardest hits comes from chaos damage it has not bothered me.

I've taken a screenshot of the triggered/non-triggered Energy Shield since I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to make POB show that information (running the fork).

My most expensive gear are:
- Awakened Melee Physical 11ex (about 13% dmg increase)
- Wands. One is probably around 8 ex and the other around 10-15ex. Crafted myself (https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/dcdlxl/crafting_2_to_minion_gems_wand/). I spent around 70c per craft. Did that around 20 times. So that's 1400c. Have gotten four wands with +1 to minion and spell skills, which go for at least 6ex. And quite a few with only +1 to minion or spell gems which sell for 50-100C. So, profit. Not sure how lucky I've been. Don't wanna encourage anyone to go broke :)
- Body armor. Actually got the base for 10c. Quite a bargain I thought. Then used a Fated Connections to 6-link it (6ex).

Here is a POB link for anyone interested:
