After 4 years of faithfully supporting GGG, the time has come to design my very own unique item. It will most certainly be tailored for PVP. With the meta changing swiftly, I would really appreciate more ideas from this thoughtful community. Let's work together to make a fantastic PVP item.
Randomly transform charges on hit. I mean, I can't see this belonging on anything but a claw but the idea of disrupting a build that relies on a specific charge type by randomly assigning all their current charges to other charge types seems bloody hilarious. You could also have it run both ways so it also discombobulates you too, leading to some pve merits with corrupting blood charges.
I did have an idea related to charges tho.
An item that changes what charges do depending on the socket color. I was thinking an unset ring.
Basically if there's a red socket, all charges (power/frenzy/endurance) give you what an endurance charge would give you (and not what they originally give. I.E.: your power and frenzy charges now only give the benefits of endurance charges). If the socket is blue, all charges give you what a power charge would give. Green for frenzy, etc.
A white socket would make every charge give you the bonus of each different charge type.
The cap would have to be like 10 charges in total.
It's important to mention that each charge would NOT "become another charge". A power charge is still a power charge, it just gives you the bonuses of an endurance charge instead. Meaning you can't just get an easy 10 charge immortal call all the time.
It's a simple concept but I see some cool potential.

I'll forego the usual hostility (until it becomes necessary) and suggest a quiver that turns any bow skill socketed into your weapon into a barrage that fires off the attack with increasing spread (like barrage itself). Downsides would be LESS damage (not reduced), reduced AoE, a mandatory 1 full-second charge-up, and only one projectile per shot for the barrage skill. It forcing Blood Magic might make it interesting too.
How about an amulet with a white gem slot, with as special property a link to all other items & and some kind off balancing stats to compensate for this awesomeness (less damage is the most obvious one, others possible as well, ...).
I'd use it any characters whose pve gear doesn't have a free green slot for the antiblock gem.
How about a Unique Jewel that says something along the lines of "if an enemy blocks/dodges/or is somehow immune to your damage," instead they take 33%
Obviously wording and the actual % need to be balanced/corrected but it would prevent builds falling entirely off the board because of immunity. Like Poison VS CI, or bleed VS death's door, etc.

Item:
Gloves - ES based - 180-240 ES
Main abilities:
-Players hit by attacks lose 5-10%% current mana (Not maximum)
-You gain ES equal to 10% of mana cost of skill/attack used
-10% to +10% increased attack speed
Came up with two more idea's, thought I would put them here:
1) Ring
Name: Soul Reaper Right ring slot:
-gain no souls from killing enemies
-gain 1 soul every 3 seconds
-lose all souls upon using a vaal skill Left ring slot:
-20% chance to gain an extra soul.
2) Amulet
name: Castablanca's Decree
-spend mana, energy shield, and life to use skills (used in that order)
-Cannot reserve mana, life, or energy shield
-Lose 1% life, mana, and energy shield when you use a skill.
You would basically be a normal RF character but with 20K ES instead.
And you could even use essence drain or other degens as secondary skills.
Just think of all the regen you can get right now with either talismans or the new % regen base amulets. Beast fur shawl. That legacy 4% regen ring, boot enchant, 4% from that flask that leaves the regen ground, etc. It would make for a pretty damn powerful RF.
Bruh. 2 life on Spider Queen? I have 20-23k ES, my RF degen would be hilarious. You'd have to make it change RF though. "RF now burns for 90% of your maximum ES per second instead of life" or something, otherwise it would burn for 90% of 2 life. XD

My second favorite idea is from Deepwater is a unique that gives ES back based on % mana spent. So a zerphy's for ES.
