the fact is that this build is based on physical to elemental conversion
i have 130k barrage dps in the hideout with my golem and auras (mf gear ) with just 41%crit and 415%multi while many other good builds need high crit chance and crit multi, in this is not necessary. the bow you are using matters much more than weapons in another attack builds 100% more elemental damage from the gems makes the difference between a top bow and an average bow very big. by my side, this is by far the strongest build i've ever played, all played with mf gear, and i never did judge any other build that i've never tried Last edited by InAshesTheyShallReap on Jan 30, 2017, 12:20:09 AM

anyway i had 134k dps LA with windripper, minus onslaught let's say 120k dps, well remove another 10%dps because i had multiplier with elemental and light skills on my jewels. (btw imagine vinktar with 90%light dmg)
http://i68.tinypic.com/63vk87.png from https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1702695 with my beyond god tier gear i have just 140k LA dps with charges and golem. result: 140k dps with brood twine path finder versus 110k LA dps with legacy windripper im sure i could get to 150k+ barrage dps without charges with a legacy windripper. people follow other people's builds and expect to get the best result with a small effort a min maxed legacy windripper tree and gear can be as equal to the same with a mirrored bow not min maxed so a min maxed windripper gear has about 30% less dps than the same with a mirrored harbringer but still enough to kill any in a few seconds bow and quiver +1 together probably cost 30-40exalted versus 400ex or harb+signal+1 is this build efficient? yes because it tops in everything, it has no weak point. does it work with 50ex gear? yes, you can get to 100k barrage hideout dps easily if you know how to build it ps. 100k dps barrage hideout with 50ex of gear is equal to 1k milion reave dps which was the best melee dagger skill untill blade flurry but with 50ex of dagger gear you could get to 400k-500k not 1mil Last edited by InAshesTheyShallReap on Jan 30, 2017, 12:54:34 AM

I'm playing this right now in Breach and i got good gear i'd say for a Temp League that is, still i feel like it's underperforming can someone look into my gear/tree and can me advice what to do?

im torn between buying a new ammy. which one to use:
1.) legacy crit 66% above with open prefix and other shit roll or 2.) 38% crit multi, 30%+ WED, crit chance ammy. which one would yield better dps? | |
" I would say that your gear is very solid actually. Some of the changes I would make are to trade your added flat damage flask for the penetration flask. I didn't like ele focus in my Lightning arrow. I prefer the feel of curse on hit with herald of ice for mapping. If you're struggling with bosses still, maybe find Skyforth with +10% ele pen and craft a Crystal belt with Essence of Hysteria for another 5% penetration during flask effect. Aside from that, if you get an Enlighten level 4 you can drop the aura cluster below Vaal Pact and get just the single 4% mana reservation node right below CI. You're also missing the Weapon Elemental Damage cluster with 6% penetration in the bottom right of the tree. Maybe with the two saved points from the aura cluster and another node elsewhere. | |

Hello, i recently played your build and had issues with getting freezed since there is no anti freeze flask.
Just want to know if you are running something that helps it or just kill everything so fast so it cant freeze you / keep distance from spells that can possibly freeze you. I would also like to know if there are any changes in the tree when im using skyforths (no broodtwine/legacy Vinkitar) My most favourite build so far, keep it up! :) |
