3.0 Dual Striker Leechtank The Wolf Bleeds Yet Dies Not 2xCORE SHAPER UBER ATZ [Umbra-Soup-Rogue]

Thanks rogue for the answer, that makes a lot of sense.

One last question and I'll leave you all alone, so... I get why +ele dmg affixes would be useless on a weapon (i.e. siege axe because axes are bomb) IF you're using brutality. However, if you're NOT using brutality does it stand to reason that forgoing the highest phys dps weapon you can find for a weapon with more +ele dmg affixes is a reasonable alternative?

I only ask because I thought I read a post a couple pages back that stated +ele dmg affixes on a weapon was irrelevant. There was no real context given (i.e. stipulating if using Brutality) so, again, I was left confused.

Thanks again in advance.

I would say no since many mobs (including boss types) resist ele damage. For instance, act bosses in merc. have base 45% resist across the board (except chaos, which is 22%). Map bosses are 30% and can be further increased by map mods.
I know I'm probably asking for a lot of handholding, but just reached Level 70 (completed Merc Lab) and wondering where to start for gear. My budget is 250C.

I already have Kaom's Roots and the rest of my current gear can be seen in my profile, but it's very much leveling gear.

Not sure if I should start off with BoR or a 5L rare chest. Also not sure how to divide my budget.

Axes or Swords or fine (currently have the lefthand side sword passives, but more than happy to respec).

Thanks so much. Build was heaps of fun to level with.

One more question, for Bringer of Rain, the 4L I'm guessing should be Dual Strike, Melee Physical Damage, Multistrike and Ruthless?

Thanks for the build btw, only up to Act 5 but it's heaps of fun so far.

You should read my gem section and decide which dual striker variant you want.

The gem section says nothing about what gems can be used with BoR.There is only the "Some support setups".
The gem links by Rogue (Ruthless Heart dual striker) and (Ruthless dual striker) and "Links by Rogue"section above them show only the rare helm and chest setups. There is nothing about BoR.

Bringer of Rain has Multistrike, Faster Attacks and Melee Phys. Dmg gems built in
Gem order matters so plug gems in top-left then to bottom

This is the only thing about this helmet which basically shows what gems not to insert because of the built in skills it has. But I don't see anything about built in Multistrike.
It's only faster attacks, melee physical and blind.
I hate these fucking forums, such a pain to post/quote/etc

Almost all the nodes on the tree we take are + phys % nodes, and most the support gems we use add or multiply physical damage. All of this is based on your weapon's physical damage. Hatred is also based on your physical damage done. This is why getting added physical damage on gear is so important, because it gets boosted so hard by your passives. Ele damage would go nowhere. If you want to focus on ele damage, you would need a completely different build.

Get a 6 link rare chest, search for 90+ total health in PoB and get your resists capped. Update your helm for resists you can't get on chest. This should be super cheap. Replace gloves asap with attack speed and life and hopefully added phys damage.

I never suggest BoR as a starting helm. It has no resists and blocks your chest. BoR is only good if you can afford to get all the resists and life elsewhere, which isn't easy when starting out.

There is clearly a typo on the guide, BoR does not have Multistrike on it. The helm should be multi-ruthless- and any of brutality/bloodlust/maim.

Tried out a prismatic with culling strikes for off hand? got a 378 sword up for 300c felt like a steal seeing prices so far, but yeah. It seems like a nice option

The 1.3 APS make it a bad option, if I get the build right.

This build is amazing, but can't use a lot of uniques. Is that bad or good? Depends. Probably is less expensive.
Couple of questions:
Would you recommend BoR, or another helmet + Belly?
What do you think is better, Axes or Swords?
Swords are better imo, but yeah it's all preference in the end. I like the whirling blades aspect. But with prismatic 3 green sockets ups your global attackspeed, making it more than a 2.1 AS sword and gives block
