I am also trying a RF totem build, with triple curses.

One tip: Lavianga's Wisdom is a REEEEALLY cheap weapon that is simply astonishing to level using RF totems. Currently I am dual wielding them and one totem takes like 50% of my screen. Also, Im using the Doedres Scorn and Pyre which I consider BiS for this build (at least until super end game maps, where defenses are prioritized).

yea but massive decrease in mvmnt speed and no whirling blades. without speed and mobility you're dead, no matter the dps or even defenses.
Minions dont triggee EE, you can test it. The exception is, as far as i know, if you use malachais artifice and socket it in. But havent test it.

Laviagnas is great for leveling, later it lacks the damage

I've got 'Righteous Fire grants 20% increased Spell Damage' on my helmet. But I read that Spell Damage doesn't affect Righteous Fire damage at all. Please can someone explain how it works? Is it only work for self-cast RF or what? Why such enchant even exists if it's worthless?
Spoiler

Its not worthless. RF is also a buff for other spells, so if you run rf and lets say ball lighting.. you will still deal the same rf damage but gain extra spelldmg for ball lightning.

But in this build it's useless, as all damage you deal doesn't scale with Spell Damage, right?
excactly, the build does not benefit from it

Ty for guide trying it out now!
Another surefire way to trigger Elementol Overload is Arctic Breath in the CWDT setup. If you can loose Increased Duration you can spice it up some more with GMP.

I just remembered that from a previous totem build (which hugely relied on crit chance) where CWDT + AB + GMP regularly "screwed up" my "xx% Crit chance if you haven't critted recently" chant on boots. ;)

I always lost precious 90% crit chance when AB was triggered. Of course, this build had tons of crit chance modifiers by default.

Needless to say, this combo also contributes greatly to the defense, the chilled ground from Arctic Breath in connection with our massive Temporal Chains effect brings them literally to a halt. ;)

Anyway, just wanted to mention it as a possibility to trigger EO.
