I would check from time to time if there are similar rings to yours [high life, nice stats] but with cast speed.

Your main focus should be getting/making 6L pledge of hands.

As for making 21/20 or buying 20/20 and vaaling, its really up to your luck
My personal agenda is "always buy the items and don't try to make them" because my luck sucks and i follow this agenda since I started playing PoE, but if people have decent luck they can save a lot of currency by making their own gear.

Get 21/20 Ice nova first, yes.

I highly suggest you to change to Phase #2 (Change the tree to be like phase #2 tree, and replace your boots with Atziri's step for extra block and evasion, which is what phase #2 is all about). will help you a lot in high tier maps and will improve your general survivability.

I also suggest using at least one Instant Hallowed flask potion

It can be used 3 times and quickly recharging itself, helping you a lot in survivability in difficult situations (I even use 2 of them).

Having 65k AoE dps fully buffed when your gems are yet to be max level and you have 5L is awesome.

As for reflect solution, I already wrote in the guide how to survive reflect mobs / maps. its working good.

Bought phase 2 boots.
Change 15 nodes in skill tree to curses and spell dodge.

Now became more survivable, but mana regen dropped down.
Removed LL from HoI and became more mana leech dependent.

I think, that for phase 2 enlighten lvl 3, corrupted boots +1 lvl (4ex in standard) and some mana regen on items is necessary for comfort playing.

Nope, mana reg isnt a must, you need around 300 free mana.

How much un-reserved mana you have?
Are you using clarity? If so, wat is the level of your clarity?

I can play with mana leech from warlord mask, no probs.

I have clarity 20. 52 total mana regen.
No mana regen items. Have 450 free mana.

I do not say it is problem. But for curse imune maps I have not enough mana.

For curse immune maps you will need to use a mana potion (and can turn off clarity since it has no effect)

I found Shavronne's Wrappings, sold and upgraded mine amulet, rings and boots.
Also I crafted flasks.
Phase 2 is amazing! Dodge is great!

I'm lvl 90, have 4000life, 330es, 350 free mana and 110 manaregen. My gems are leveling.
I think, I won't upgrade my current items for a long time, need to start relax playing.
As I said, I have 6s PoH and I spend all alts/jews/fus for possible 6l.

Got one question. What skill tree points should I activate next? Endurance, Frenzy or Crit?
And, may be, any global suggestion?

I know, that I need empower lvl 3 (or 4) and may be two enlighten lvl 3 (or 4). But they are very expensive.

Get the endurence, then frenzy and then complete the crits.

You can always check for cast speed diamond rings, and/or higher life.
Also, an amulet with more stats [mana / mana reg for example] could be great.

As for potions I don't think you need a mana potion to have on you consntaly, also you could manage with 2 insta potions and drop the 3rd potion.

You can get Rumi's Concoction potion for extra block & spell block instead. great potion.
Or, just alwyas use Atziri flask for more dps.

I already follow this guide a while now (died 2-3 times) inbetween. I'm playing HC only so it's a lot harder to get back to a higher lvl and find/buy all the gear after dying.

My question is: is there a safer version of this build with slightly more focus on health/survivability? (I can't open Aim Deep's passive tree for the HC version of the build)

Means I would like to know if I should vary some passive nodes, skills and gear in HC or just play it like everyone else?

I'm afraid of taking vaal pact and be dependent on packs to get life. Would it make more sense to skip vaal pact in HC and take a life leech gem instead (leave out faster casting in my pledge of hands setup)?

Or is it not entirely possible to survive reflection mobs with a life leech gem and without vaal pact?

Another question: In some situations I tried to pop vaal grace and it didn't directly activate (full collected souls) when I hit the button. Are there known issues with the activation of it? If yes is there a nice replacement for it as a defense? Maybe CWDT-Molten Shell-Inc Duration or just additional a normal grace aura? Or would you not recommend those as a replacement?

Im sad to hear that the HC version of aim deep isn't working ;[ didnt realize that.

Anyways, I suggest having Life Leech gem instead of Empower.
Besides that, we get decent amount of HP from the tree and also have extra defenses with Acrobatics and evasion [phase #2 tree].

Don't skip vaal pact, its the core of the build and the main reason this build is viable.

As for Vaal Grace, or any Vaal skill - it consumes charges but not activating becuase of:

1) you got stunned right when u activated it - it cancells the skill
2) happens less frequently but still happens - desync or some kind of lag.
