[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
In case anyone is interested in my map organization...
map quad tab
3 columns, 8 cells wide each. Each map tier gets 4 rows in one column. Atziri sets, Council sets, etc, etc, all get sorted into the last portion of the 3rd column. Whenever I get 4 of the same map, I either run one or sell 3 for the next tier up. Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD
Feel free to message me in game if I'm on. |

M effing G
Spoiler
Just who is that "Mull Gubbin" guy anyhow, LOL? |
|
In the HoG, he's a max block + tempest shield cwdt build.
To beat him, you will at LEAST need the Block Chance Reduction gem, maybe Frost Bomb as well as his regen is kinda nuts. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.
| |
" Yup, had BCR. Zero damage to him when I died (unless he has crazy regen). |
|
If someone has problems with breaches just use abyssal cry, wait for more mobs spawn and explode them with chain reaction :D
| |
" You swap to SP? Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Funneling
Spoiler
I'm going to give Strand funneling a go. I'll be following Norseman21's strategy as outlined in his reddit posts. Namely: Take white Strand, chisel to 20q, alch and go unless unrunnable mods. Do not reroll. Probably just sell unrunable maps. Use 3 Journeyman Sextants and 1 Apprentice Sextants on map. Reroll if necessary until added mobs, quantity, strongboxes and barrels obtained. Apply Bloodlines to map (I'm going to try skipping this and apply Perandus instead. Norseman21 states in his posts that Bloodlines isn't necessary for sustainability). ======= Unfortunately, I'd been aiming for very high Atlas bonus. Consequently, all T11's/T12's were completed before I began this project. There are 7 Tier 11 maps other than Shaped Strands and 8 Tier 12 maps, plus I have T12 Shaped Mud Geyser. In all, I'll need 19 Master Cartographer's Seals (each seal takes 3 Master Cartographer's Sextants and an Orb of Souring). 19x3 = 57 Master Cartographer's Sextants @ 7c each = 399c 19 Orbs of Scouring @ 0.5c each = 10c ==== Total cost to reconfigure Atlas = 410c. ==== Which reminds me: Q. How to you make a small fortune running maps in Breach League? A. Start with a large fortune. =====
Spoiler
I'm here all week folks.

Try the Roast Beef and Potatoes. |

" Didn't try that - I got bored early on and rushed some waves dying needlessly. Spent all but 1 portal in first wing. But man, the loot from the grandmaster box was amazing. So I buckled down and ran the 2nd wing deathless. 3rd wing I got Mister Em Gee. ===== Didn't get much of a chance to see exactly what he was doing for damage but I put a crap ton of GMP projectiles into him - no damage. Not sure if SP would do the trick. |

Vorici's Dubious Protagonist
Spoiler
This is a brief tale about "Electric" - my Hand of Wisdom and Action Raider. As with my "Noxic" tales, this one too is based loosely on my experiences while playing Path of Exile. I hope you like it :-) ========= "Over here!," reluctantly hailed Vorici, the Master Assassin. If truth be known, Vorici was regretting his previous assassination attempt on the Scion, Noxic. Not only did the attempt fail, but Noxic had gone into hiding. Cheerful, reliable, Noxic... Although Noxic was a miscreant counterfeiter, at least she could be depended upon. Dependable was not a trait you could associate with the character, "Electric." ------------ "Huh," replied Electric, yawning. "This way Exlie," continued Vorici. "I have a very important mission for you. Attend carefully!" Electric made her way over to Vorici. Not again, she thought to herself. He's going to keep talking and talking and talking... might as well get this over with. "Are you listening Exile?," Vorici all but shouted. The last mission he gave to Electric didn't fare well and he was beginning to have serious doubts about entrusting Electric with anything more complicated than tying her shoes. "What?," said Electric. "Oh nevermind, continued Vorici. Now here's the mission. There's a certain deviant who..." To Electric this was all very boring. She had places to go! Things to do! And meanwhile, the Assassin was droning on and on about... uh, just what was he saying? "Blah, blah, Kaylor blah, but be especially sure not to blah, blah," finished the Assassin - or so it seemed to Electric. "Have I made myself clear?" "Oh, absolutely, Great One, absolutely clear," Electric blurted out - this seemed to be the correct response to shut the Assassin up. And indeed, it worked! =========== So off went Electric on a mission concerning a certain noble named "Kaylor." =========== Kaylor was to be killed summarily, along with all his guards. Er, well, probably that was the mission. At least the last mission went like that. Or was it the mission before that? Or... ------------ Up ahead, Kaylor and his retinue came into view. Immediately, Electric sprang into action, unleashing a volley of thrown knives. Kaylor and his guards stood no chance, dying under the hail of blades. ============= Off to the side, the Master Assassin stood, observing proceedings. "No!," shouted Vorici. "You idiot, Electric! I told you to sneak past Kaylor and open his treasure chest!" At the commotion, Electric turned and spotted Vorici. There he stood, jumping excitedly up and down, gesturing, and shouting something. "Blah, blah, blah... treasure chest!," bellowed Vorici. "No problem boss, grinned Electric." She winked at the Assassin by way of acknowledgement. "Glad to be of service." ===================
Spoiler
And this is pretty much how all my Vorici missions go now. For you see, Vorici is level 8, and it's nice to kill whatever rogue he spawns just for the drops. Last edited by hankinsohl on Jan 16, 2017, 10:20:38 AM
