[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
" At the end of the day, getting frenzy charges still results in more damage than swapping them out for increased damage modifiers. In a finished build, it's the difference between ~13-14k tooltip and 17k-18k tooltip. The more modifiers all stack with each other then apply, so it's worth getting. " Hence the levelling section being marked out of date. Due to a few different things, namely the chaos damage gained in shadow + nullification + sniper + growth and decay positioning, both Corruption (which has moved way out to Witch) and MttM are no longer taken. Dirty Techniques is grabbed instead to compensate. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

I have a alternate blood magic tree that has more life and damage at the cost of auras. http://cb.poedb.tw/us/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAwAAOygDlm49voBgQ4MJb57xs0tXwOPKSl-wm7WExcM6ieDmWJMfSRMkiw-rFr8mlWHiVUtqjPVvyBSi2bDYtNHIDHaCtUjrYwMeH0ERLysKXfIOSLcwFAkTbSaIEZYHHpUu8NVJUY_6XECHy6ebdZ7PFTY9napsjGKs8pebXaiae8NaUkrIbqq18jWS2L3-j03jplf-CvJFOuF4DcAabzupbnlowQRfP_ZIjM89_FhjVbWezacwn8sB5xRN_Eu8nxiROlIOPN-_20_gwyW8PydfmFltzzI=

Tankier, sure.
But you're actually -24% damage and -10% res all and -3 jewel sockets, which is effectively like saying -24% res all or so (net -34% resistances). And you're also -3 Frenzy charges. Which is massive. Lastly, that tree will not support double Andvarius. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Last edited by Serleth on Jan 6, 2016, 11:21:15 PM

How about playing it with iron reflexes build ? Do i have to change something in my gear ? And is there some effect of it ? I mean now i'm oneshoted by alot of bosses at hight end maps. If i change to iron reflex is this going to end ? I mean not so much oneshot ?
HP : 4000 Evesion Rating: 14600 ALl res: 75 % only chaos is - So can i recieve some explain on iron reflex changes, is it worth or not? Ty
" IR is not what will save you from one-hits basically. At capped resistances, a bigger lifepool and player skill / movements will be much more effective at keeping you alive. We had this discussion somewhere in the thread already, and in OP there's an IR variant. short: IR protects you from 'not so good' play and eats a lot of small hits. Because armor is not so effective at reducing big hits, IR won't protect you from one-shots. but if you feel better and get hit a lot by white mobs even, IR could help you until you get to know the enemy mobs better and keep you alive :) IGN: WildTortillaFart

I just switched to IR, the biggest thing I have noticed so far is less spike damage.
Going from phase acro to IR saved me 5 points (netting more dmg/life) and changed 2% phys reduction to 55%. Will run a bunch of maps this weekend to really test it out, seems good so far though.
I just might be the dumbest PoE player of ALL time. Decided to try out this build as I had a couple exalts to toss into a bow. Leveled up...switched over to CA around lvl 60 using this bow. Leveling real slow...dmg super subpar.
At level 71 moved over to this bow and noticed zero increase in my dmg...I was getting super frustrated leeching dried lakes and wondering why my damage was horrible. I could barely clear Tier 1/2 maps....and those were awful. I started experimenting with gems to see if there was a temp fix...come to find out....I had a no linked CA socketed in my chest linked to my skill bar (self found master craft don't laugh ;)) Put the correct CA on my Skill bar and dmg raised from 1500ish to around 6500. It's a start. My gear is trash tier still, but wanted to vent a bit about my stupidity :) Thanks for the build!
@crzy
Don't worry. When I first started playing years ago, I put Freezing Pulse in my wand and faster casting in my chest and wondered why nothing was changing. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

" this is never really accurate, meaning the number in your character stats. Same goes for evasion. If you look at this in Act 1 normal it differs from act 3 cruel and your hideout. Load up a higher tier and look at it again, and even then it's just a barebone of a value. There won't be a 55% reduction of phys dmg from a map boss melee attack. that's the way armor works, small hits = good mitigation, bigger hits = bad mitigation, huge hits = barely any mitigation.
