1.1.0 Patch Notes - Sacrifice of the Vaal
The only reason people are complaining... is because people do not like change. It doesn't matter if its easier, or harder, or better, or does nothing at all. People will always complain about change.
I agree that GGG does need to keep an eye out on their own changes to make sure they were the right one. Here is my suggestion for people who are expressing themselves: Wait and play the new patch for a bit before complaining. Make it intelligent and give reason and logic in your posts. GGG will more likely listen to us if we act like adults rather then children. IGN JimansNotSummoner

You mention that at level 15 spectral throw will do 60% of base damage, the same it currently does; does that mean spectral throw damage is higher past level 15??
FINALLY aegis nerf, now if only you would nerf the Soul Taker that basically everyone in trade chat wants we could get some build diversity. Not sure about the skill tree changes, I will have to try them out but I'm liking most of the changes. Poor Scions though... :( I wonder if Hillock-Senpai will notice me when I go to town??

" Use a weapon other than Face Breakers and then come back this this point. This is a change that will very drastically effect all melee CI builds that aren't putting out significantly high DPS. Life Leech could be changed out for another support gem but then you run into the problem of losing even more damage for what may be an all around loss of Life Leech due to that fact. My level 84 Reaver is already squishy as it is, this is going to make it unplayable in higher maps now with 100% certainty. |

I just wish the Vaal Pact penalty had been 40-50% instead of 60%.

" I strongly disagree in the soul taker point. It's an item I eagerly try to chance to be able to wield some day. Mostly becouse I want to try out a crazy dominating blow experiment. In damage regards, its completely fine (not sure about legacy ones) as is easily improved by a decent rare. Thought its still really strong while dual wielded. IGN: PipeBender

What's with all these crit nerfs?
|
|
" exactly. i'm glad you're catching on |

GGG has made a habit of asking, "hmmm, what are the most overused items? Are they stronger than they should be? Do they make every build of that type better? Ok, its overpowered then, lets nerf it"
Thats how. " |
