You think everyone plays PoE for the same reasons and with the same goals? Calling that an arrogant statement would be an understatement.
Hejren / Triceps / Regnbuen / Sarinti / Striglen / Mareridt / Spoegelset / Doktoren / Dobbelganger / Skjoldtrold / Forkynderen
I don't get people complaining about nerfs just because.

Try doing this in your head to dry your tears:
Imagine GG did just what you told them to - instead of nerfing op stuff they buffed everything else!
Then on another note they reduced the numbers on everything so the numbers don't get too big - you know so you can read them better. This is no nerf all relative power levels remain intact.

See it now?
Online delenda est:
When the lifecycle of PoE will draw to an end many years from now,
there needs to be a final patch making it available offline.

OMG why this vaal pact change???

now its designed for life based chars? as if it was not already harder to go full ES...

I built up a full set of good ES items, I paid the price and it was a real pain in the *ss, and now im just wondering if im not going back to life... sad

You're overall ES buffer is getting buffed, plus you're still gonna leech, you should try it when the patch goes live before jumping to quick conclusion imho.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

This arguement works both ways.
(What I mean is, acting like the game is ruined for everybody just because of some balance changes is like saying everybody is player for the same reasons)

This all sounds awesome.

Anyone who complains about leagues or not having enough currency. You are probably just not that good. Like people complain about flipping items. Anyone ever play D2? Has anyone heard of "action rpg" or "item find game".

You kill stuff, you get items, you get currency. Items get identified. They are either good or they suck. Vendor or trade?

If you dont like this concept - and dont think you should have to work to make money - then go play Diablo 3 or Titan Quest - im sure you will have alot of Fun!!

PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY CHRIS WILSON (KEEP UP THE FUCKING GOOD WORK).

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and pretty much declare Diablo 3 a better ARPG experience under the new patch until further notice. That's pretty sad considering how bad Diablo 3 really is despite all the massive overhauls.

And Titan Quest, Diablo 2, and various other ARPGs including Nox/TL2/Sacred kick Path of Exile's teeth in.

So with every patch build diversity is less and less cause people take skills that suck less, and not how it should be, to pick skill that is more fun.

I agree with you. An other problem is that a lot of people will not use anymore the nerfed skills, so they will take other ones. And then in 4 months GGG see that too much people are using those other skills and nerf them too. And this will happen until every damn skill is nerfed to dead. But the problem is that people use the better skill gems, because the other skill gems suck too much. There are so many weak skill gems for the endgame which need strongly a buff. If they would buff those weak skills, so maybe everybody wouldn't take only the strongest skill gems in the game.

ppl spend so many hours perfecting a build, then GGG nerfs the shit out of them.
GGG, the fun police.

Not even counting the previously mentioned topics, you're also dealing with the odds. Remind me, what's the point in building a toon capable of soloing ilvl 80+ items when they spawn ilvl 1 mods? Is there any point to breaking your ass for a statistically negligible chance to get the item you need? 99% of the items that drop in Maps aren't even useful to anyone who's barely equipped enough to grind them, much less mark as an improvement over anything except a normal item.

Sad but true... just yesterday I took a break from doing the usual lvl 73-78 maps and wanted to try farming piety. Despite having played for a long time now, I never did any farming of certain bosses, but boy was that an eyeopener... Being able to pick up way more rares and uniques on piety runs and because of the quantity of drops also getting more good rares.. all this by facerolling a lowlevel zone and an easy boss. I'm wondering why the hell I have been doing maps now, when I can just run one zone/boss for better loot, more currency and with no risk.
Stupid me (or stupid game mechanics)
