1.0.0 Release Patch Notes
I love these patch notes, all of the things look pretty good, its very funny reading through the posts of complaints that people have, it was just the beta, its not like that's what the actual game was going to be like after release. xD Nice work GGG! :D

When can we expect the torrent with the patch to be ready ? Or there wont be such alternative due to steam ?

" english is an international language, whatever that garbage is, isn't. Get it? And its ggg who calls maps 'endgame maps' ... so yeah, get over it son. You lost the argument, and you keep trying but you keep failing. Docks and lunaris, and now dominus runs, are for noops. The real challenge and endgame is maps. |

I am NOT happy with these changes.
Too many nerfs. GGG...haven't you guys learn anything from Diablo 3? You do NOT nerf a character!! NEVER. That's like a big no-no when it comes to re-balancing ARPG games. If you want to re-balance the game, make the other classes STRONGR, NOT make pre-existing classes weaker! Come on guys...Diablo 3 tried doing it and it fails. Don't make the same mistake... |

I hate legacy Uniques.

" First of all, you come off as a real ass. Sorry. Second, Chris has said that he wants maps to be just part of the endgame and that endgame should be whatever players want it to be. This is why they are trying to make boss runs more viable as well as leveling without maps. Lastly, before you start being completely ignorant about other languages, not to mention correcting people for having a different first language than yourself, at least be able to form a sentence with correct grammar. Thanks. Last edited by sharkh20#2500 on Oct 22, 2013, 7:13:56 PM

" My grammar is fine maps are the real endgame, but live in your bubble all you want |

Legacy Uniques will be really OP. Some builds require legacy uniques, they won't work with the nerfed ones. Players with legacy Uniques will be extremely powerful. If you have one of the uniques before the patch, you'll be extremely rich, those uniques will go for hundreds and thousands of exalts. Rich becomes richer. New characters will never be as powerful as ones with legacy uniques. They should just nerf the old uniques too, there's no reason not to do so. I don't care if someone has one of the uniques on one of their characters, and they'll become less powerful; they were too OP in the first place; they nerf the uniques, because they're unbalanced.

" The "its" in your original comment should have been "it's" By "noops" I guess you meant "noobs" "get over it son" should have been "get over it, son" I am not claiming to have correct grammar in my comments. I'm just pointing out that you are a jerk. Last edited by sharkh20#2500 on Oct 22, 2013, 7:18:14 PM

While I can see the points of concern voiced here on the last 100 pages or so I don't think we need to worry too much about the Standard League. Yes, legacy uniques will forever be unattainable for most of us but then again, the standard league is not competitive, at least in regard to the PvE part. I just don't care what some people do in their map instances as long as I can farm mine.
As for the changes, they are sweeping, to be sure. They make some current builds not viable anymore. Then again, you log on to your character and you'll have a blank slate with a ton of skill points that you can allocate in any way you see fit, presumably in what you think the new hype dps spec will be. I don't know what's so bad about all this. I'll bench my newly-levelled templar for a while and go back to my 76 marauder. I mean, meh. If a future patch changes everything again I'll go back to another class and spec. I like clicking my way through that skill tree and fine-tune builds and I'm happy that I now have to do that again. More complexity through new nodes and skills adds new depth, too. I find that planning and levelling new characters is more fun in a permanent league than farming endgame content with no further goals left other than to get a perfectly-rolled mace, rather than the near-perfect one or something. Endless hours sunk into grinding and the sense of progression is minimal. This patch mixes things up so it's back to the drawing board for many of us. Happy days! |
