0.11.2 Patch Notes

Can we have a clarification on which forms of damage mitigation weren't working before patch?

P.S: Stop QQ'ing about evasion not interacting with IR anymore and the minor CI nerf. Both are pretty much a joke and the impact is meaningless.

Boooobooo I'm going to have 500 less armour or 8000 ES instead of 9000. Please STFU! Life still is underwhelming when it comes to risky situations (high spike damage) and Kaom's pretty much mandatory for endgame.

Also people saying CI is useless, underestimating the difficulty of getting chaos res & overcap ele resist on gear. Maybe try playing non-CI characters and do endgame content?

This simply is aimed towards a specific streamer, not taking into consideration that there were people who played CI Grace + IR way before he did and dont have the ingame resources to simply switch builds all of a sudden right now. And I dont really get this type of balancing.
Not familiar with whom, and I've seen lots of Iron Reflexes QQ on these forums. And yes, it is an abnormally strong keystone that up until now had no drawback whatsoever. I think adding the drawback they are adding is just fine.

The only reason the Keystone was strong is because Evasion Rating literally was the most useless stat in the whole game so converting it into Armour was the best you could do.

You dont balance it by nerfing the Keystone, you balance it by making Evasion as a mechanic less trash so people dont have any motivation to get Iron Reflexes anymore when stacking ER gear. Thats how you balance properly, not just nerfing everything without thinking.
I agree, but I don't think it was a thoughtless decision. Evasion gear already has higher numbers than armour gear, and that's before receiving a Dexterity buff. I don't think the problem had anything to do with evasion, honestly; I think it had to do with IR being the best way to stack armour, completely ignoring "chance to evade" as a mechanic.

With this change, however, I'd kind of like to see Leather and Steel go back to "+24% armour; +24% evasion." Two lines, not one; same for the rest of the cluster. That way, if you build specifically for Iron Reflexes, you'd "get" your "lost" Dexterity bonus back. I think it's actually okay to make IR the best way to stack armour if you have to dedicate to the concept by allocating more than one passive point to it.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

So if the reflect damage uses your own accuracy and eva this means if I have Resolute Technique this means I will never ever evade my own attacks right?

Correct.

So it means, that RT users will receive more reflect that currently, yes? If so, it's again, strange way to show affection to melee builds...

In case reflect mitigation was not correctly working before, you have now means to defend yourself as RT user using passive defensive or active defensive skills like arctic armour.
Aside the former tricks like using traps, totems and other stuff like that.

ES is weaken! CI is useless!Delete it!

Looks good as always, but why more ES nerfs?

Edit - I just re read the notes and noticed the infused shield reduction.

Not only do I want my skills points refunded, but all the time, effort & currency I put into making all my CI chars refunded because with less ES I am pretty sure my CI melee shadow will be struggling even more, as at level 80 I can't reach 4k ES and you feel that is to high.

Duno why you need to add nerf's into a great looking patch, and just make me feel "here we go again" type of crap.

:(

you are losing maybe 200-250ES, jesus christ calm down lol

I can do endgame content fine with a non-CI character. My melee Duelist is mowing through low level maps, which my CI character has a ridiculously hard time doing. Though, I am not sure how much this will effect my Duelist with the change in IR, if I am able to replicate it again.

so anyone can clarify that whatever build you used started as a ranger will get a reset?

so,

3k ES = ~ 250 - 300 ES lost -> ~ 2700 - 2750 ES remain

4k ES = ~ 350-400 ES lost -> ~ 3600 - 3650 ES remain

5k ES = ~ 450 - 500 ES lost -> ~ 4500 - 4550 ES remain

6K ES = ~ 540 - 600 ES lost -> ~ 5400 - 5460 ES remain

7K ES = ~ 630 - 700 ES lost -> ~ 6300 - 6370 ES remain

oh come on, they do nothing without thinking, you know that to be true somewhere in your head.

They did make the Evasion mechanic less trash, so you have no point there. With regards to dex and IR, this will make it harder for a dex based ranger to be able to stack more armour than a str based marauder without speccing or wearing any actual armour. Im sure there are other implications. Stopping evasion being the best form of armour is hardly nerfing everything without thinking, it helps solve a number of issues revolving around IR and its popularity.

Me and you can do math before jumping the gun.

Some people clearly cannot.
