" Well there's quite a few races for season1, so there's always next week. The times are pretty good for us, bar maybe one or two some of the really early ones. South African player here. Repping Bloemfontein like a boss! This game is awesome but would be even better with a locally hosted server! I know of a lot of people that didn't "sign up" in this thread that are actually playing from SA, and a ton more that will play with local ping :D Great game guys, Thanks! Hi Guys
I'm considering putting a "South/Southern African" Team together for the party races. You don't necessarily have to have tons of experience but you must have at least participated in a few of the races. Also you must have the following: 1. Mumble (If the South African community prefers "Team Speak" I'll consider it.) 2. Able to participate in 75% of the scheduled party races. 3. A reliable internet connection during race times. 4. 12 Gigs or more RAM or an SSD drive. (I will elaborate later) 5. YOU MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER! 6. Infighting among members will not be tolerated. I realize this could take a while to put together and I would probably have to forfeit my current ladder position, but it would be great to get more of us into the top ranks. EDIT: it's really sad but the response to this has been far below what I expected. It seems South Africans just aren't as competitive as I had always believed.
