Wow. Don't know if I want to continue playing path of nerfs after this, it's basically becoming another Diablo 3/WoW

Nerf everything so it's equally bad instead of adding new/harder content.

THIS

The Onslaught league is a hardcore league with 20% increased monster attack, cast and movement speeds. These stack with Map mods, so Onslaught is quite a lot more difficult than regular
^^^ I mean that sounds pretty freaking intense. GL on 100, I know I'm not good enough for that at this time. This game will never be as bad as D3 is. Certain OP builds are getting nerfed (classes that I have made and am not even upset that are getting nerfed) in an effort to keep the game from being another WoW/D3 faceroll fest. I LOVE the difficulty in this game it's the reason I play and tell all my friends to play. I would rather struggle and learn why certain mechanics destroy me and improve myself as a player than smash buttons and pick up loot. I'm also a huge alt-whore and look forward to rolling many new viable classes that will appear/respec all my current 50+ alts...epic. GG GGG <3 keep it up f*** a hater.

Elemental Adaptation has been reduced to 2% maximum resists. More changes to maximum resistances are coming in the future. The intention is that players cannot hit 100%.

Well this makes it very hard to run Righteous Fire without ES. I think that Rise of the Phoenix should be upgraded to +11% max fire resist to account for this.
Well, I guess I can throw my high HP Righteous Fire Marauder in the trash. No way I can out-regen the burn now. Not to mention less life = less aoe damage.

For sale: Rise of the Phoenix
Where do you see the game getting harder ?
There will only be less differentiation and less damage incoming.
Put your imba Iron Reflex now and be immortal with your sword.
They just nerfed a bit EK and FP , is not getting any harder ,just more boring.
Like 1 hit more is going to make it harder...? you are taking lot less damage now cause
of armor formula after nerf of incoming damage... damn you, difficult is not more boring.

Why are people forgetting that monsters are doing LESS DAMAGE? All of this complaining is stupid.

But we dont know how much. For all we know we can still be 1hko'd or insta killed by stuff.
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_-
smash QQ like a boss

10000% agree

a) Buff bad skills: now everything is easy.
b) Game is now too easy: give monsters more life.
c) Values would now have all crept up: scale them all down slightly.

The "nerfs" in this patch are in response to the rest of the rebalance and so that many builds are simultaneously viable. You can't complain that there are only seven good builds and then complain when we balancing the power level :P

Please note that the argument of "just buff the other skills, never nerf anything" has this cycle:
a) Buff bad skills: now everything is easy.
b) Game is now too easy: give monsters more life.
c) Values would now have all crept up: scale them all down slightly.

After those steps, it's exactly the same as just tweaking the abusive skills in the first place. Don't worry, we've tested the builds with the new balance and they're still really powerful. It's a pretty different experience now. My advice would be to try out your old characters, then respec them using the free respec if you want to make build changes. You can also play a new character in the new leagues.

Also, and I don't mean to rant about this, but it's a bit distressing reading that we "destroyed" a build when we just toned down its damage by a small amount in some cases.

I'm quite worried that the melee buffs are too high for the early game. In our testing over the last few days it has trivialised a lot of the challenge. We'll be reviewing it further tomorrow.

Path of Nerfs 0.11 is gona be another Diablo 3 shit all over again.
Btw , the leaked ones were the same , and you also banned the guy who posted em. lol .

I banned that particular throwaway account, yes. The leaked patch notes were a substantially out of date version - almost every line was rewritten since those ones were first drafted last week.

hmm did i miss it or is the armor reduction formula not changed?

It's not changed, but as you know it's based on monster damage which is a lot lower now. Because of this, armour has a lot more defensiveness now.
Wise words buff -> balance <- nerf , need to happen , deal with it

Chris has said the damage is "a lot lower" now.
