I think with a 24% sash my 7 frenzy charge pure physical bow ranger is going to get a whole lot more powerful :D

as for builds being ruined, your getting a full respec chance. you cant be creative and make it work?

Yep, sick of fucking nerfs. They seem to listen more and more to the casuals that have flooded the forums since open beta, at first they ignored those people, LIKE THEY STILL SHOULD BE, but now, nothing can ever be difficult, you might make the mentally crippled retards that can't move out of something upset. Seriously, like with the alchemists, THEY ADDED A CHAOS RESIST RING and still nerfed them. It wasn't needed, and now one of the few things that was seriously dangerous at end-game will be considerably easier to deal with.


They also nerfed some of the most used abilities, much like D3, anything good, nerfed.....

It's a pity that GGG can't nerf your nasty temper.
Is there any offset for Eldritch battery users who are going to be affected by the energy shield nerf?

You will need to relevel gems etc though.
For more casual players that will sting.

Why do I get the feeling that this patch is SPECIFICALLY targeted at all the Righteous Fire build out there?

Basically EVERYTHING an RF build rely on: life (thus regen), and max resist are gone. Lower life --> less regen & less dmg; lower max resist --> regen couldnt cover the RF burning dmg

So basically its telling ppl who have worked so hard on this build (I "merely" have a lv78, my highest) to give up.

Well, I will try other builds, BUT why such hate towards the RF build? What am I suppose to do with him? (change it to a melee??? at lv78???) What with all the life based equipment I spend so much time and fortune to gather???

There MUST be someway to nerf the RF build while still making it at least playable, right? RIGHT?

I think Heavy Strike should be in the bug fixes. Just look at the Heavy Strike Skill thread and how everyone hates it.

Besides the knockback being terrible for groups, and makes you lose dps since you have to move and hit, and knocks monsters into walls.... it causes HORRIBLE desync if you try to use it with something like melee splash. It's basically a useless skill that could be made much better if knockback was taken out as a quick fix, and maybe anarmor debuff added to it or something.


Great post, seconded. Heavy Strike causes big headaches, I can't count the amount of times I've knocked bosses into walls before I stopped using it. Armor debuff instead of knockback would be swell.

On topic, patch notes look awesome and can't wait to play my Marauder come Wednesday.

Endurance Charges now only provide 4% elemental and physical damage reduction per charge.


Is this implying that endurance charges also give actual elemental damage reduction or is it just the same thing as before?
