how about we just save all these hotfixes for the next day. you know so you dont accidently brick your game during the launch. unless its major it can wait

I cannot speak for you. No hotfix update has been supplied to me through Steam. When I tried to launch it said it needed an update. It then validated my files, and tried to launch again.

this is really frustrating, I was super ahead in act 2 and now I cannot play

Apparently this same thing has happened at least as far back as in 2021, with PoE1. And then 10-11 months ago as well.
Not sure if the cause is exactly the same, but the symptoms seem to have been 100% same. Fun times. |
