Well, I was playing (through Steam) just fine at launch. I closed my game for a bit and tried to get back in after this "hotfix". I now get the same error as everyone else and cannot get into the game.

I would says it's pretty obvious that this is an issue with the "hotfix" and not with Steam as it was working just fine before they decided to hotfix.

If you are currently in game and playing through steam, do not leave the game until they apply a hotfix to fix their "hotbreak".

The question, however, is why is Steam not updating the client. Is it because there is a problem with the update provided by GGG, or is Steam just being slow to make it available. I'm not saying it cannot be GGG's fault. I'm only saying it isn't necessarily GGG's fault.
