bro listening to the cope of people who dont understand this is a nerf to normal players not uber crafters. they can use 90 million omens of light and whittlings and stuff to make items already.
this affects the average player who could follow a very easy 5 step process. now they will be 1 shotting everything while u take 30 mins to do 1 map because you cant make a weapon without getting lotto lucky and finding a mirror this makes them infinitely more rich than before where you could make your own items. they can still craft best in slot items, now you cant. thats all that has changed. |

Please for the love of all things holy, revert that terrible essence change. If I have to rely on that dumbass genesis tree bullshit, I'm done. All the work you guys put in in 0.3 to help with deterministic crafting is taking a huge leap backwards. Not to mention, it's further hindered by the removal of the recomb. These are by far the worst decisions I've seen to date.

GGG, I’ve never had a negative reason to post here before. I have been so excited about this upcoming patch, and now I feel doomed. And I have 1000 hours in this game! This is going to hurt player progression for me, but it will nuke the progression of players with less experience. Why are we directly hurting the casuals and mid tier gamers?? This reduces accessible mid-tier crafting and pushes average players into trade earlier, while top-end crafters will still optimize around expensive systems. |

Very good change to crafting system. The deterministic crafting make game so easy to play, since you just need to 1 base weapon and 2 essence and then clear all content. Im so happy with this change, hope GGG will keep this direction in the future. Your game is insane.

" Does this mean crafted outcomes from essence isn't a range, but just a static amount? Overall i get why this change was made. When you got to around 200 div you could just buy a top end 800+dps weapon and call it a day, so many on the market. This change doesn't seem to effect early or mid endgame since those were not crafted anyway (outside of cheap self craft), but does make late endgame way more expensive. Overall bringing the curve way down. Feels like a good thing. |

" Yep, I dont know, but I can use the thing which let me think. They have no reason to introduce new substance "Crafting mods" with reference to deterministic ways of crafting if there is only 1 crafting deterministic mod. They could wright "1 essence per item" - easier, isnt it? |
