One more new day without twister nerf
"Vision"
if twister was nerfed nobody would play it. do you know how annoying it is to play a keyboard piano build like twister where you constantly need to press 4 buttons ? the only incentive people have to play it is that its so strong. thats the only thing it has going for it.
Ok Mozart, it's your right to consider it as something difficult
nobody said difficult. annoying yes. difficult? nope. unless you think pressing 4 buttons is difficult.

same meta, no changes for meta builds, feels bad playing the same thing every season.
besides that good patch.
Hope the game gets harder
Hey man, just wanted to let you know, that if you really think so, then you are completely, absolutely clueless about the game :) hope this helps

If you guys never played twisters before i strongly suggest not to leaguestart with it.
Sure its too strong in campaign and early on but remember you are playing a MELEE build, even though your twisters are going offscreen and all, you are still melee and you have so little defensive layers besides your freeze etc.
You constantly need to use whirling slash to travel in your maps which becomes frustrating after just a few hours, its clunky, slow early on and even looting is kinda hard with it.
You'll be using 3 if not 4 buttons all the time, meanwhile dodgerolling to get extra benefits from spiritwalker ascendancy. Sure we dodgeroll all the time but putting it in your actual combo is not fun, if you wanna get max dmg output you have to click 4 buttons + dodgeroll every damn time.
This is coming from someone who played twisters with 4+ mirrors invested in all of the previous leagues.

4+ mirrors and you couldnt figure out Wake of Destruction and Call of the Brotherhood synergy? 1 button for clear 2 buttons for bosses.

1 button for clear sure XD, where are you getting your additional projectiles with 1 button clear? Please educate me. Also how are you planning to move in your maps?

I don't think twister needs a nerf because while it's good it's nowhere near as busted as CoC and countless other meta builds, but this is not at all how Twister played for me. It's a projectile build anyway, the only melee skill involved is Whirling Slash.
It's so good it's boring (but with the direction PoE2 is going its clear that's what the devs want out of a build). You don't have to copy all the builds using the Skysilver winged spear for the whirling slashes...if you just use your regular spear, and put in some +AoE supports on WS you'll start mauling anything before its close enough to hit you to you as you skip along charging up WS 3 times before wiping the screen after you let the twisters fly. Put a few passive points into plus skill duration and you'll have twisters that last 7 or 8 seconds, and you won't even need to press as many buttons (unless you're in an open area where they fly 3 to 4 screens away in that time...)
You don't need much plus mana regen to keep it going indefinitely as long as you don't get stupid and build up attack speed far more than you need to. With good enough gear in end game you don't even need to barrage or WS. You can make it an incredibly lazy 1 button build for anything other than pinnacle bosses, where you'll have to suffer the inconvenience of 3 or 4 extra button presses to kill them in under 5 seconds.
TLDR there is more than one way to play Twister.

Agree to disagree here. Sure you dont have to follow popular builds to make twisters work, however on your example, it's not near good enough when you juice stuff to the roof. This only works if you do mid-tier mapping or so. Nowhere on earth you are having fun with max effectiveness abyss or any other league mechanic. It will feel clunky, not enough damage to kill rares on 1 combo and so on. I also didn't say anything about twisters need a nerf or something, maybe you mistaken the quote there. Also any twister build heavily depends on whirling slash's ability to travel in maps, you dont use your wasd to do it, you whirl slash everywhere.
You at least need 3 buttons to be able to play this,
Whirling slash - barrage - twisters, all in order every time you see a rare or a big magic-normal pack. And its gonna feel so bad when you can't kill the rares on your first combo, maybe even after second. Not even talking about additional skills for bossing, like marks, ice tipped arrows etc. Suddenly it becomes a 5 button combo...
TLDR, you'll never feel comfortable mapping high-tier juiced maps with it, whereas random spark enjoyer 1 clicks and cleans 3 screens without exposing themselves to any kind of danger lol.

Yep agree to disagree I guess, or we can agree that the way you're playing didn't work as well. Juiced t16s were boring, breach, abyss, etc. everything falling over dead. Pinnacle bosses other than uber arbiter easily dead/on to second phase in <5 seconds. Don't think I died on a map past level 90, but did die in a few maxed temple pile ups or from lag. This was all without using a Headhunter belt too.
Again, don't think it needs to be nerfed because this is a game built to be easy which sucks but that's the way they've chosen to go. Also don't buy into this it takes multiple buttons to do it so that means it's hard argument. Pressing and rhythmically cycling through 5 buttons is still really really easy.
