Totems will now cost mana, and with the previously theorycrafted build(s), actually a ton of it. Totems can not get mana on kill or use mana remnants. Hope this helps!

Bumping this post. Ya'll really need to touch grass and chill. If you think there is not build diversity, that's because you expect them all to be the very top tier. No game can do that. Quit being meta slaves. There are a lot of builds that are viable, but you only see the 5 the streamers talk about most. This is the kind of game where you get what you put in. You know why streamers make some of the best builds? They learned the game, the mechanics, put the time in and crunched the numbers for hrs. If you are not willing or able to put that kind of work into the game, then you are not going to see build diversity. Only the meta.

For most part I agree, but there are no need to spend as much effort as job gamers.

So much effort needed to make broken faceroll 2sec boss build, it's true. But all the content can be finished as simple as understanding to take fire damage nods if ur skill deal fire damage. And a bit of diffences.

of course act like pb pathfinder wasnt gutted the hardest while it was nowhere near being as op as coc comet, and they made lighting arrow basically unusuable even tho no one played it. They also gutted the best endgame scaling for all bow builds by nerfing quiv bonus to 1 levels (you now get 1 more level every 100 quiv bonus instead of 50). they nerfed the most used bow base too and lets act like subterfuge wasnt gutted with ghost dance and they did not nerf snipe and ice shot on the initial patch notes(they had around 1 - 2 percent usage last league). like bruh😒

also you are literally using 7 skills to use snipe (ice tipped arrows ,barrage, ice shot, freezing salvo, escape shot, frost bomb,snipe) and if you miss the perfect timing you deal literally 0 dps and try to freeze the boss again which becomes way harder to do so each and every time.

but yeah bows were untouched🤓

Snipe got slight buff but not enough! Snipe is still pretty weak especially when you are trying to one shot a boss wink wink...

Twister... oh man this skill is bad, it took some guy 4 hours to get from lvl 1 to tier 15 maps, too slow imo

Fixed a bug that caused the minion damage bonus against non-unique enemies introduced in version 0.3 to function incorrectly. Depending on specific circumstances, this will result in very little change to early minion damage, approximately 25-35% more late-game minion damage against non-unique enemies, and approximately 20-25% more late-game minion damage against unique enemies. This bonus is also no longer factored into the damage numbers displayed for skills of your minions.


The 0.3 change was:

Minions now deal 3% more Damage with Hits and Ailments against non-unique monsters at skill level 3, scaling to 50% more Damage with Hits and Ailments against non-unique monsters by skill level 8.

Because the updated Ancestral Bond seems to be only for Spell Totem, and that alone. Either you don't take it and totems can't be the main skill because of the limit/charges/other requirements, or you take it and you have to solve spirit + mana/life cost + scattered totem nodes + damage-type-specific nodes + defense, which hardly allows using other totems together with Spell Totem. The doubled limit also helps Spell Totem the most, so without it the spirit reservation doesn't make it worth taking.

E.g. for Dark Effigy Spell Totem could've been used to apply chaos DoT, but would still need to self-cast Contagion for spreading it and to self-cast curses (or swap any of these with Spell Totem and self-cast chaos DoT). At least the self-cast being the support for a change.

Now without something else only Ancestral Bond + Archmage + mana stacking appears to be the totem main option. Is there enough in the charge cost removal for Ancestral Warrior Totem?

Blood Mage: The Sanguine Tides Notable Ascendancy Passive now grants: Gain 1 Life Flask Charge per 2% Life spent (previously per 4%). On hitting an Enemy while a Life Flask is at full Charges, 40% of its Charges are consumed. (unchanged). Gain 1% of damage as Physical damage for 5 seconds per Charge consumed this way (previously 3 seconds). Flasks do not recover Life (previously 50% less Life Recovery from Flasks).
