Just a reminder,Adding trade into SSF will be a solution

A "problem" that no one can quantify. The problem of being behind in an economy would happen exactly the same, because people playing 10x more hours than you will always be 10x ahead of you.

sure but it would weed out the people who play 1 hour and make 100x more than you because they use 4 multi accounts to follow them around in maps for extra loot

people dont want to compete against cheaters like this who ruin the market

Using hyperbolic numbers honestly just weakens your point. Even at peak efficiency you're not getting 100x loot even with a multibox setup and illegal scripts.

To the people saying stay out of SSF, I do assume these ideas are a new game mode. Call it ST (Solo Trade) of you want to separate it from SSF.I def agree they shouldn't bastardize SSF for it.
Yes, this maybe the best solution!!!!!!!

A trade-enabled SSF mode would make the economy extremely stable, because without party play, every item entering the market would carry a real cost.
Even progressing through the campaign or completing Ascendancy trials would itself be part of that cost. There would no longer be things like party gold farming, party Ascendancy carries, or every other form of group-based boosting.

More importantly, it would make Path of Exile 2’s core strength — build diversity — truly meaningful again.
It would become much easier for a wide variety of builds to thrive.

In such an environment, a build only needs to be useful in a specific type of content or at a certain stage of progression to have value.
That is very different from the current party-based leagues, where only the strongest endgame farming builds really matter, because nearly everything else can simply be carried by groups.

Trade is absolutely essential here.
PoE2 already has an enormous item pool, and without trading, an average player would have an extremely difficult time assembling the gear required for their build, let alone experimenting with different builds.

Without trade, any item that does not fit your current build quickly becomes meaningless.
With trade enabled, however, almost all of these problems are solved. And since trading is available, friends from the regular leagues could also join this server and play together economically, even without party gameplay.

For what problem? Because I don't believe this solves any problems at all.

i think he means it solves the problem of sharing the trade market with group play cheaters

You guys should keep your trader problem into trade and leave us SSF be.
Thanks.

new server---SSFtrade
But...But...It's Solo SELF FOUND ...
It's literally a mode made for you and YOU ALONE to find your gear and craft and do everything else...
You can't implement trading into a mode that's designed around solo play no matter how tough or how fast others progress due to having trade...
It defeats the whole purpose of it being a SOLO mode...
What??

You're missing the point...
It's solo self found, it's like having a game that's purely single player (think of Spyro or something), no co op, no multiplayer no nothing.
Then asking "why can't I play multiplayer"
if I start a SSF character it's to get away from trade altogether
So, solo payers only. Mmmm yes, I see the vision.
