PoE1 slop enjoyers, rejoice!

The biggest turn-down of PoE 2 is the stupid zoom-zoom and one button screen clear present in every build.
And they just add 100 runes after a half a year of work. If I'd want instant satisfaction and brainless zooming, I could play PoE 1. I don't. Give me meaningful combat and slow the F down, please. 1) Boss that dies in seconds is not a boss, its a regular mob. I want to actually fight (like 0.1 Geonor)!
2) Player power is too high too fast. Week 1 of each league. 3) I feel over-stimulated, can't see shit on the screen and struggle to find any meaning in blasting maps by 1-button screen clears. |

" stop pasting your builds from a guide and implement something with 5 buttons then. :D

The old addage of "Cheap, Fast, or Reliable, pick 2" definately applies here. Pack of mobs with a mini boss and an objective that is rewarding is good. They don't have enough of those, and the very repetitive boring tile sets are not suited for that type of interaction.

" What? Breach, Delirium? Are we playing the same game? Even Mektul, Viper and Lythara are timed dps checks. |

" So in the end your problem is not about the game not being "methodic" for you, because you can do that, your problem is with others enjoying the game the way they like/want, says a lot about you. IGN - Slayonara

" A slop that has been going strong for 14 years and has amassed a gigantic fanbase, lots of content creators, people creating websites, apps etc because they love the game, ye we will gobble all the slop and enjoy every minute doing so, if the game isnt well recieved by people with smooth brains ho well, we gotta live with it, meanwhile bring me my spreadsheets, my browser tabs open and some apps and i will enjoy every minute of it, 100 new runes? Some think it's too confusing, for me they are new oportunities, more fun shit to find and play around with, i couldnt be happier, finally the game is taking the shape it diserves. " Go do some methodic breach, buddy. And everything else, really. Go methodically fight screens of insignificant monsters. Good luck. Or maybe you want to methodically melt a boss by just playing with grenades and literally doing nothing special? for example. And so on. " Surely... now go follow a build guide which you most likely do all the time. Good news, it will be even easier now with ingame build guides. Or, perhaps you can let us know what unique builds you've crafted yourself that nobody else has? Also.. gigantic fanbase? Calm down, it's not even close to being that big lmao. It had the opportunity to become gigantic but they missed that opportunity. Technically it still has another chance with 1.0 but, in reality I find it incredibly unlikely to change in such a way that they would really take advantage of that chance. BTW, games with regular content updates player numbers: ![]() ![]() Game that hasn't had new content in over 2+ years or so: ![]() Someone care to explain to me how is this possible? " I too will go ahead and enjoy my very successful slop, sloppy slop gamers till the end |

" You can't really look at steam charts for comparison. A lot of players such as myself use the launcher downloaded from the site, not steam or anything else. Steam charts are not a valid way to measure success of a game ngl |

" ruhroh. you tried to be dishonest, again. and got called out, again. you have moved from cherry picking and intentionally mis-contextualizing quotes to trying the same with numbers. ![]() its almost like these games have entirely different models with POE player numbers spiking far above those of elden ring. multiple times per year. POE 1 released in 2013 and still shits on elden ring year over year. seems like you spend a significant amount of your free time hating POE, might be time to admit that it simply isnt for you and move on. its quite embarrassing. :D Last edited by JODYHiGHR0LLER#6171 on May 11, 2026, 12:05:25 AM
