Why Does Every Suggestion Turn Into Drama?

It's a great question and I believe the answer can be broken down to, at least, the following:

1) Many people have trouble envisioning a world outside of their own paradigm.

Most of us struggle with the notion that there is more than one solution to a problem or specifically in the realm of gaming: People like to play different games/genres as well as have different goals when playing a game.

Here's are a couple examples applied to just today.

"What's up with the "I want to feel like a God" complex?"
Not to disparage although it's a silly question if you really think about it. The question immediately divides people under the pretense that people need to see a shrink because they play a video game differently than another person. Someone in that conversation may need to see a shrink although it's most likely not the person who likes to play video games this way. It assumes that one specific view on how to enjoy a video game is not only the "right" view but the "only" view: Else you need professional help. LOL

"Release Path 0.5 without telling us what is changed"
This is such a ridiculous request. It really just adds credence to the next point I'm going to make.

Think about this: People are explaining that they cannot control themselves (i.e. - not watch any information released before 0.5) so they need to control GGG from releasing this information because they cannot control themselves from not reading / watching it. Not only that, they want to control it for everyone else who enjoys watching the pre-release information / reading the patch.

Most importantly, they want to stop GGG from marketing (driving anticipation) for their "for profit" game because it will be "healthier". LOL. Completely absurd.

2) General frustration from people not enjoying their favorite game.

If you read the forums, this is probably the #1 reason I would assign to why it's so toxic. It can be broken into two (2) specific points (from my perspective):

A) People are just not happy with the current state of the game.
B) Path is a big time sink in a lot of people's lives. They don't know what to do with all this time on their hands so they turn to the forums to vent / fill their time while hanging their hope on 0.5 being their salvation.
