Just a reminder, please remove the team loot bonus in version 0.5.
" You are absolutely right. The output of a professional team in a single day can exceed that of a solo player in an entire season. Although such cases may be rare, if left unchecked, the issue will become even more severe in the 0.5 season. The solo players around me have all expressed that if the teaming issue cannot be properly resolved, they will abandon POE2 |

I completely agree with removing or nerfing the party loot bonus. In the current version, the bonus is absolutely insane. To give you an example: a solo player might get 1 Divine Orb and a few Exalted Orbs from a map, but a party can drop a ridiculous 30-40 Divines and hundreds of Exalts from the exact same map. The returns are completely disproportionate and totally unreasonable. Just imagine if a single player runs 6 accounts simultaneously? It's unbelievable that this has persisted for 4 seasons. I urge the GGG team to please address the party loot issue.

The crazy benefits of teaming up drive people to form teams, which leads many to use bots as team members. This is very harmful in trading servers and severely exacerbates inflation. Those who do not team up are like grazing buffalo, while those who do team up are like leeches on the buffalo.

In this type of game, I believe teaming up should not be driven by benifits. I team up with friends to explore more BD synergies, coordinate with teammates, and challenge harder goals for fun. However, the current teaming-up benefits in the game are too high, and these benefits can change the purpose of some people playing the game.
I support reducing the drop rewards for teaming up. Last edited by Exia#2548 on May 11, 2026, 11:01:48 PM

Being killed by the Gravebind counts as a monster kill, but it does not inherit rarity.
party play does not increase rarity or drop quantity. |

Exiles, hold your horses on the party play debate—have you seen the real culprit?
It's not party play. It's bots. One person, six clients, 24/7 non-stop farming. Machines never sleep, currency never stops flowing. That's the true source of inflation. Party play isn't the root problem—it's just an amplifier. It takes what bots generate and cranks up the volume, making the pain finally noticeable to regular players. If GGG can wipe out bots for good, and a party means six real human beings playing together, coordinating, and mapping—then sure, give them better loot than solo players. That's a reward for cooperation, not for cheating. So stop fighting over party loot. Let's shout together: GGG, kill the bots first! And if you can't handle it yourselves, Tencent can help—because in China, when Tencent goes after cheaters, it leaves scorched earth. |

The problem is if you play in a normal group with a slightly juiced map, the loots won't be much once split evenly among the group memebers. but if you play magajuiced map and have some crazy strong character in the group to destroy everything in that map, the loots will be insane. you can argue that well, these people put in a lot of work to make their character insanely strong and super juice their map, but the fact remains that such way of harvesting tons of loot is no different from the way some people exploit the temple mechanics.and GGG still allows it.
