[Feedback] Revert Campaign Difficulty to Patch 0.1, Campaign Is Too Easy Now

endgame is already easy and u guys want to make campain even more easy ?

whole poe2 is too easy

You can't exactly unlearn the boss timings and skill mechanics. The only way to recover the original difficulty is to lobotomize yourself. Reverting to 0.1 isn't actually going to feel the way you remember it feeling.
Most every day, I find it is helpful to ask:

"Do I want to be right, or do I want to solve the problem?"

Those dreadful POE1 players who like it easy provided 13 years of revenue to fund the vision of POE2 (including Patch 0.1). Without them, POE2 doesn't exist. So we all owe a great debt of gratitude to those players that the staunch supporters of 0.1 so easily dismiss.

If POE1 is getting a complete graphics overhaul and update: Yeah, maybe banishing back to POE1 is not such a poor sentence.

Otherwise, a viable solution for both sides is adding in a difficulty level in a current system.

  • Awakened**Mastery / Awareness
  • HC — Risk
  • HC SSF — Extreme

**Not trying to sell the name "Awakened". "Vigil", "Premiere", or some other name would work.

This new difficulty sits in the middle of the ladder by design — not as a stepping stone to Hardcore, but as its own destination. Death is expected but not punishing — the penalty is tempo, not character loss.

Make it as hard as you want. Make every pack of monsters capable of one shotting you. Do an endless roll in a circle if you want. Make every boss fight 10 minutes long. This is the Dark Souls of Path.

yup, but it can make you at least think about getting cold res for geonor or light res for jamanhra.
I agree. 0.1 was the best the game ever felt. Despite all the bugs and obvious problems that version had. The difficulty and progression through the first 3 acts was peak. Now you are just blasting thru mindlessly as soon as you get a +skills weapon and nothing really feels like a challenge, you get showered in rares way too soon.
0.1 had progression from white items to blue to then yellow. Now we just go straight to yellow. Bosses were fun fights, now they are for the most part a joke.

Completely agree, well said.
Jonathan, please stay true to your "vision" and revert campaign difficulty to 0.1. Too many arpgs on the market become water-downed over time, please don't let that happen to our beloved PoE2!

OP needs to delete his memory of poe2 and re-experience things for the first time to return to 0.1 difficulty. You've learned a ton about the game and the enemies, you'll never have the same difficulty as a newbie again.
0.1 was the best the campaign felt. I do hope we can keep the combat feeling good and make the endgame feel the same. One shotting the entire screen from act 4 onwards gets really boring.
