" Incorrect not every endgame build is critical, Critical nodes are already rare compared to generic damage nodes. Critical strike requires specific gear and investment and, yes, it's definitely the most straightforward way to scale for a lot of the builds. However there are many builds that dont heavily rely on critical strike, so I disagree with nerfing crit further. Examples of other builds are already posted in the thread. If you really want to nerf crit that badly I propose nerfs to Oracle and Blood Mage but I assume this proposal won't go down easily for the Oracles and Blood Mages. So yeah kinda leave crit as is. Actually, thinking about it, they'll probably nerf oracle anyway as it does get critical hits too easily. We'll see. |

" Bloodmage....when Devs implemented this class all the other gone from bad to worse. Clearly destroying the game. Yesterday i tried reach a bloodmage in level 97 with pressed the running button continuously from the start of map....just couldn't! Their original idea was good:
Cold spells - least damage, most base crit chance Lightning spells - mid damage and mid base crit Fire damage - high base damage and lowest base crit But what we got in 0.4? Comet that has insane base damage, even more insane base fire damage if fire infused, all while being cold spell with high crit chance, and fire infusions are easy to get by using living bomb together with coc comet. Which result in comet being most used and most OP spell in the game. Passive tree should have less generic spell damage, less crit chance/damage. Less cold damage, bunch cold crit branches. More lightning damage branches and couple lightning crit branches Tree should have a lot more fire damage branches than it currently has and maybe no fire crit passives at all. www.youtube.com/@PaintMasterPoE

" There's already plenty for the two, actually so many its hard to manage, even if you were doing pure lightning or fire without crit. It's not really the crit on the passive tree nor the spell crit chance that is the root cause. It's the Ascendancies and a smart combo of unique items that takes it to the next level (like max level on megabonk). GGG is so busted, oooooooooh.
