+4 on boss tree is stupid, stop it with the "1 shots"
" I do want to point out that your build is especially good against elemental damage. You have tons of defense against elemental damage. Armour applies to elemental, with a significant amount of base armour AND bear form increase your Armour. You also have adaptations so another 30% LESS damage. Not "decrease", "less". You have multiplicative damage reduction that doesn't scale with the size of the attack. If an elemental attack ever one shots you, or even comes close, it will annihilate everyone else. I would like to see either a pure evasion character or a pure ES character chime in and say that attack is fine. I would love to see how characters with out access to armour handle that attack. i agree citadel bosses at max level can be quite dangerous but thats the risk we gotta take to farm those red fragments.
here is a tip to tank against citadel boss at max difficulty: i have two melee characters, one has 11k ES 8k armour, 4k elemental migitation, and going CI. this guy can tank one big swipe from genor in second form (does about 4k damage to me) and 2-3 ice luna beams from him. its enough to survive and kill him in the next couple of seconds. the luna beam thing is insane though, i often tank 3 hits from that thing, kill him and another will come out and kill me. the second guy has 9k ES and 12K evasion and CI, honestly the evasion is quite useless against citadel bosses, i get killed in one swipe. hope this helps you man, i think stacking ES/armour is the way to go right now. this game isnt meant to be easy and its frustrating but better than playing an easy game right? |
