exp from level 1 to lvl 100

I wouldn't mind the extremely high XP requirement if leveling that far would at least give a meaningful advantage, e. g. by granting an additional skill point per level above 90 each time, but the way it is now is just bullshit and I simply stop caring past level 94/95ish.

exp from level 1 to lvl 100 is way too high
in my opinion it takes to much time to reach lvl 100
i know some ppl will cry that its supposed to be an "achievement" and hard
but its already super hard since u lose exp
honestly if u wouldnt lose exp at all or if there were "exp brackets" inside a level - if u reach for example 20% 40% 60% 80% u cannot fall below that
if it was something like that it wouldnt be a problem
im playing allot ,im playing on ssf and it toke me god knows how much time to reach to level 99 as shred wolf shaman
i would honestly like to see the total amount of exp reduced , the number required for reach to lvl a 100 is insanely high .
level a 100 should be fairly hard to achive playing solo even on ssf
but currently its very hard and takes ages
i honestly dont believe a casual player can reach lvl 99 not to mention lvl 100 even if he plays allot

i know some players got used to the idea from poe1 that ur not "supposed" to reach lvl 100 or that its suposed to super ultra Hard
but This is poe2 and not poe1
and i believe in poe2 its supposed to be fairly achievable for single player players
as it stands now
it takes unhealthy amount of time to reach
and unrealistic at all for 99% of the players

please ggg reduce the amount of exp need to level up beyond lvl 97 or add exp brackets "check points" for exp inside a level
to make the player keep going and not begin stuck all the time or move backwards every time they die .

yes i know there are exp omens, but hey they not always work i died yesterday twice and lost 20% exp even whit active exp omens in my inventory , its Super painful on high level 99 , and in general reaching lvl 100 shouldnt be achieve for the No lifers only that play 200+ hours per season or held behind "group play" doors.

hi there, i think it's better to keep the exp as it is now.

otherwise all the lousy and unworthy players will be able to reach level 100.

You've got it right. The skill points at that level are not going to make a difference. Level 100 is a goal for those that want an achievement, it's not intended for everyone to get or even for everyone to care about getting.

If you want it, great, then go earn it. If you don't care about the number, then you ignore it and do something else.

it's more about completion than build defining, i can live with lvl 97-98 then make other builds.
If there was something more engaging i could literally push for 100 but once you max the trees and get those last bits to grab the last notable you planned then boredom kicks in after few days for me.
Not really worth it.

You guys have the patience and time to go beyond / above level 90?
I have only one character at lvl 91 (Amazon )
2 Monks at level 78 and 73
1 Druid at level 80 and I've already tapped out
1 Sorceress ar lvl 23
1 Mercenary at lvl 33
I cannot believe how fast I gave up on the last two characters... I guess POE 2 is really boring after the first 3 characters

I got so tired and bored of the game that I cannot force myself to level up higher...
It takes too much time

I don't know about sorceress. I play Mercenary and i see barely people playing this class. Combination between Gemling Legionnaire and Crossbow is the worst. You can barely reach 130k DPS when other classes overcome 250k. And Devs call it balance!

Completely disagree, my tactician monophased every single t3 pinnacle and uber arbiter so probably you're doing it wrong?
You have to accept that this is not an MMO and your power doesnt come from the leveling, after Level 96 its so minor that most will just stop and move on.

Its all very easy until level 98 and this is obviously on purpose to force players to understand this.

But alot of players are like me and feel that max level = character finished even when told 1000 times "it doesnt matter" "its a leader board thing".

I just want them to make it the same as POE 1 for exp, i only stopped at 99 on POE 1 because i learnt you can be a p#$%y and buy a carry.

I have a level 99 and level 98 in POE 2 and ive forced myself to stop at level 99 because 99 to 100 you can just get another character to almost 98.

But after 1600hrs i can say the feeling from 98 to 99 feels like you have achieved something.

fyi i wont buy any more packs until they make it like POE 1 for exp.

P.S

I am a Dog and i will just drop my load and leave on to the next post
It really depends on the build.

For example, on my pure minion setup I'm already so tightly packed and optimized that levels 95-100 aren't "just a number". Those 5 points can be the difference between something like +1.5k ES or +15% total DPS. That's not "minor", that's the kind of gap that decides whether a mistake is a shrug or a trip back to hideout.

So yeah, please stop with the blanket "it doesn't change anything" takes. For some builds, those last points are absolutely meaningful endgame power.

And no, "just respec" isn't some magic wand either. If I start moving points around, it gets worse fast, because the whole thing is already tuned around the exact tree + gear combo. It's like telling someone with a perfectly fitted suit to "just adjust the sleeves" and acting surprised when the whole thing turns into a clown costume.
sounds a good idea to have exp checkpoints. This can ease the issue a bit.

+1000 to this. At least to levels above 96.
