[Feedback] Gemling Legionnaire Worst Ascendancy

Gemling Legionnaire is arguably the worst performing Ascendancy in 0.4.0. To improve the lackluster performance in the next Content Patch 0.5.0, I would like to suggest a few sizable buffs that specifically target item requirements, max resistances, and spirit efficiency.

* Adaptive Capability: Highest attribute also satisfies Item Requirements (in addition to Gems).
* Thaumaturgical Infusion: Gain +2% to Max Resist per 3 Support Gems (up from +1%).
* Integrated Efficiency: Skills gain 1% Increased Spirit Reservation Efficiency per Support Gem socketed of your most numerous color.

With these buffs, Adaptive Capability grants Gemlings true adaptability by wearing any equipment type, Thaumaturgical Infusion makes Gemlings more of an elemental tank, whereas Integrated Efficiency allows for more defensive buffs and minions making the Legionnaire a true commander.

I don't have a position about the ideas in the OP, but I do think the ascendancy could use some work. The final two ascendancy points would give me almost no additional power -- in contrast to the work required to get the last two points.

Implants and Advanced Thaumaturgy are strong (just beat Simulacrum with mid gear SSF minion build). The "right side" of the ascendancy, not so much.

0.3 SSF: Evasion-only melee challenge character: https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/119e9
Also worth mentioning:

It took until the Interludes for the build to come online, but in endgame this feels like the smoothest character I've played in the game. +2 to gem level in SSF is massive. (The game might be easier than before, not sure, but I'm clearing harder content than earlier characters/leagues, and feeling more comfortable while doing it.)

EDIT: And *do-no-work charges*!!! I throw 12 empowered zombies against anything tough, and watch it die.

I dunno, in 0.3 I made grenade based Gemling with 90% fire res, 50% phys res and around 250k DPS and it performed quite well. So I'm for any buffs lol.

If you look at PoE Ninja, Gemling is the least played ascendancy at 0.2%. Clearly, it's not performing compared to others.

SSF context: my character is the #4 Gemling Legionnaire in SSF Fate of the Vaal, even though I'm only level 93. I would need to be level 96 right now to be on the ladder.

Gemling had it's time in the sun, v.0.1 Gemling Stat stacker was all that was being played.

It sounds like OP missed that boat. It was nerfed, and focus is on other ascendancies now. Just like all of PoE, things will circle back around, I just wouldn't' expect Gemling to be at the top of the list anytime soon.
Is it worst than chalupa now?
Exploit early exploit often bozos.
It's a great SSF ascendancy. Completed endgame with it in 0.3 with it with only 2 buttons but it's just a versatile stat stick class. Nothing unique about it which is probably why it's unpopular.
I only play SSF and it is my duty as one to inform you of my status.
