PoE2 Is Bleeding Economic Integrity
" lmao. Best according to who? Empyrian is just a POE e-celeb. People just hand him divs and crafting materials on stream every league. That doesn't mean his team is actually the best at anything. And let's be honest about it. He's never going to say anything about the advantages group play has, because it's all he does and he doesn't want anything to change. He's not going to explain the massive advantage that is only one party member needing rarity. He's not going to talk about how groups can still make a ton doing low level T7 maps because their quant scaling is so high. He's not going to talk about the gameplay advantages of having dedicated curse bots, banner bots, CC/freeze bots, etc.... Basically, he's extremely biased and isn't going to have a real, constructive conversation about whether or not group play is bad for the game overall. Be honest about it. There is nothing at all harder about group play other than visual clarity and actually organizing your team. The content itself is a walk in the park and just rains currency. It's way more stable and consistent income vs playing solo, and each individual member of the team is way easier to build, because they don't all need to stack rarity. The DPS/carry members can just focus on their build, a luxury solo players don't have, because solo players also have to try to fit in rarity. And, of course, there will always be people who either play in groups themselves or don't really get it and just try to handwave it away by saying the team has to split up their profits, but that's pretty irrelevant too, because it's not like the teams just split their profits after every map. They are pooling together everything and buying up locks, mirrors, crafting materials. They are are looking at where to improve the efficiency of the team as a whole and putting the currency there as needed (example: buying a new weapon for one of the carries). Basically, they are treating the team as a standalone unit and not just mindlessly splitting profits and handing it out. They have a huge advantage early league because of this. " Yes, they will. Just like the temple fiasco, it overall gives the impression of the game being broken and unbalanced, which is something a lot of people find unappealing. |

" lol what a joke. you can't possibly believe anything about group play is actually more difficult, do you? |
|
" That's because you have no argument. It's just a fact. The monsters become more tanky. Who cares? It means nothing when you have multiple high budget DPS/carry team members who can min-max damage and defenses because they don't need rarity and because they have teammates buffing them with banners and putting debuff curses on the monsters. It means literally nothing that the monsters got some more HP to go with the quant scaling. The benefits of the group far outweigh the extra monster scaling. " Argument? For what? I will do more solo than they in group play. Dude, it's ridiculus. On Probation Any%

" What do you not understand? Like I said, you have no argument. You didn't address a single thing I said. Just a mindless "you don't know what you're talking about" with nothing to back it up. You. Have. No. Argument. |

" What do you want from me? It's not my fault that you do less than groups. On Probation Any%

" It can be sometimes, ya. I can kill things faster solo than with the increased hp monsters in group play have. Any monster alive is a potential one shot when you can't see what's happening in combat. Not every group is fully optimized like many of you suspect. If it were, and it was that easy, you guys would all be doing it. Problem is, a lot of groups have at least one person heavily weighing progress down. Some people actually play with real life friends, and kicking them out of the group really isn't an option. |
|
" But I'm not talking about a few friends, some of whom may be bad players, playing together for fun. I'm talking about the fully stacked try-hard, optimized groups that dominate the league on week 1. Yes, you alone may be able to kill monsters quicker because they are less tanky for you, but an optimized team with 2-3 carries will have no issue with that extra monster scaling, because they don't need rarity on their character and they have buffers/debuffers helping them. |
