PoE2 Is Bleeding Economic Integrity

I’m genuinely concerned about the state of PoE2’s economy right now. Party play isn’t just “better” than solo — it’s economically dominant, to the point where solo progression feels invalid. Coordinated groups generate vastly more loot, progress faster, and then flood trade, forcing everyone else to compete against party-farmed prices. That breaks the core ARPG promise of fair, earned progression and makes skill and time matter less than group optimization. When party scaling + trade distort the market this hard, trust in the economy erodes fast, and once players stop believing drops and progress are meaningful, they stop engaging. This really needs a rethink before it becomes the accepted baseline.
Solution Suggestion: A clean way to fix this is to give each party member their own fully separate loot pool, equivalent to solo rewards, with no multiplicative scaling from grouping. Party play should be about playing together for fun and safety, not about printing more currency per hour. This keeps party gameplay viable without letting it dominate the economy, ensures solo players remain economically competitive, and prevents group-farmed loot from distorting trade for everyone else. Awareness: Are there any gaming platforms or journalists that cover ongoing issues like these in Path of Exile? It feels like many long-standing problems aren’t getting enough visibility. Is there a better way for the community to raise awareness and provide feedback so these concerns are taken more seriously? I’d really like to see more open communication and meaningful changes from the developers. Accountability: They should start issuing bans for the game abusers. Every account that helped bricking this league should get punished. Repeating Known Design Mistakes: Why stick with the bad design even when creating a new game ?? Like we already know how terrible this is made in POE1 so why repeat it in POE2? Problems With Shared Loot Pools: Still I dislike an open pool of loot in parties. Specially this cause people to run solo more and stay away from playing with others. Why not just make it a healthy design and give each player their own reward from the map. It can still be the same gameplay and the same map device system etc. just each person get his own loot on his screen instead of showing a crazy amount of loot that harm cpu and performance. I host a lot of party play, mainly in PoE1 and loot is totally garbage. We got some info from best group playing this league in PoE2 and they do what, 4,5 div per hour?

There is players and groups getting up to 300+ divs an hour. The market is going to turn off new players. I hope they just implement something similar to LE SSF gameplay. Let those who want to be done in a week or two have their cake. Some of us like to take our time.

It's really not hard to make 100s-1000's of divs a week this league without temple or group play, this is just a whole bunch of cope.
