I really doubt whether the game developers actually play this game, or if they are just being directed by a group of people who don't play games?

If only they watched Fubgun they would just nuke his temple or move his characters to SSF to lock them there.

Retention numbers were going up, everyone was having fun seeing their loot progressively grow. People I knew were coming back to poe2 to build their temples.

Nerfing mid league such a time intensive mechanic is crazy, I spent an entire week getting it setup and now it's dead because I can't lock it. It's 10x worse than nerfing a build mid league holy

same brother; it was my only free weekend before my work got crazy again. i just wanted to build temple

GGG I have run hundreds of temples. I will explain this to you since you're not sure how your league mechanic works.

If a room has a low chance for quipalotals (thats the +1 medallion that you need for t3, which you now need to be able to lock a room) then it's somewhere around a 1-5% chance to drop. I have gone 8+ hours without seeing a +1 medallion from low-chance rooms on a full temple. The only reliable source to get a high chance for quipalotls is through a golem.

A golem has to be connected to a generator to be able to go to T3 (high chance +1), but it can't be connected to the generator because it has to go through 5 different rooms in the chain before it can connect to a generator. To put a cherry on top, the generators' power doesn't go through rooms, only paths, which can't be connected to rooms in a chain... lol. AT BEST, you can have ONE reliable T3 golem, and only if you delete your ENTIRE temple and start your chain with a golem that has a generator on the opposing side of the main path in. That generator will constantly be decaying, which will constantly bring your golem back to T2. HOW TF is this variance in temples? The only way to use your lock is to delete your entire temple so you can start the golem on one side and the generator on the other, then constantly battle having enough locks and +1 medallions at the same time. Then you also have to have the perfect card draws to be able to bring something up to T2 so that you can even apply an upgrade to make it T3, so that you can then apply a lock, so that you can protect it for ONE turn. Since we are restarting our temples to look the exact same for your "variety", we will have 0 locks since we had to delete all the spymasters we spent the last 10-100+ hours farming. Even if you save some up before your temple deletion, you're looking at a lifetime to build 20 rooms. People will still be working on half a snake in standard by the time the full release of the game is out. Meanwhile, people like me with complete temples, will just keep flooding the economy with tons of loot because get wrecked kid, I didn't work over the holiday season.

On top of all this, spy masters are so unbelievably rare, and if you ever draw a spymaster without barracks, it is guaranteed to be deleted due to the assassination mechanic, unless you ALSO draw a barracks with it.

Do you see how F#$%ed your temple is now?

The T3 medallion change is cooked.

Worst change possible, [Removed by Support], im quitting this league untill they revert this nerf and im never buying a supporter pack again untill they go back to respecting players time. I came to play this game exactly cause everyone told me this company respected the players and their time and this is the result, feels like blizzard all over again
