0.4.0c Hotfix 14

Ignore the haters, really appreciate the attempts at curbing un-fan and exploitative temple mechanic abuse.
You do not play your own game. Revert the medallion change and it will be fine, but you put out this stupid update as a slap in the face to your player base. With a snarky comment to boot. Horrible community management.
[Removed by Support] You ruin the Temple / league for everyone but the top 1% and they just keep printing Divines.

It would be nice to have some type of tooltip that explained what pieces could connect to pieces. To kind of help figure out how to build the temple more efficiently.

People are still abusing it.
People who have the whole temple are now making 20d per run.
No one else can build the temple now.

How is it possible that people don't understand that?

you never should have touched the temple in the first place. calling server performance but you are just salty to the core.

Are you serious? People have invested weeks building their temples – and now you're killing them? In a league that's only a month old?

This change should have come after the league ended, but at this point in the league, it's nothing more than a goddamn joke – let's see how people react to this crap.

I can rip my chain to the point where I have T3 spymaster at the end of it, thats about it.

I just can't imagine average Joe building a temple without being able to lock it:D What am I missing here- you keep building and it keeps destroying itself all the time. It will be 10x more frustrating than before:D
This is literall kick to the players teeth. Casuals and dad gamers had fun...People were returning just because of meaningfull progress and rewarding and hard mobs and now you do this???? ITS KILLED NO MATTER HOW MUCH REDUCTION OF LOST ROOMS YOU ADD .... IT WAS PURE RNG TO BUILD THE TEMPLE WITH LOCKS EVEN!!! YOU NEEDED TO PLAY FOR DAYS TO MAKE PROPER TEMPLE!!! IF IT WOULD BE HOUR TO BUILD TEMPLE NOONE WOULD BE SAYING ANYTHING!!!!!!
I genuinely want to ask:
how many people in your company have actually built a Temple before 0.4.0c?

The claim that not killing the Architect or Atziri results in a “stable” Temple size of around 40 rooms honestly sounds like a joke.
Have you actually tried building a Temple yourselves? Seriously?

Each entry gives us 6 rooms, and among those you usually have 2–3 roads. Even if we generously count roads as full rooms, the math still doesn’t add up. At no point does my Temple ever “stabilise” at 40 rooms in real gameplay.

I have never experienced my Temple naturally sitting at 40 rooms.
If that’s truly the internal assumption, maybe you should publish the actual average room count across all players, instead of relying on theoretical numbers.

And don’t forget to exclude those pre–hotfix 13 Temples where players could just build a single road all the way through — those heavily skew the data.

It’s already 2026.
Please stop presenting unrealistic assumptions as if they reflect real player experience.
