0.4.0c Hotfix 14

Just joined this league few days ago, just finished the campaign and starting to look in details about how to build (correctly) the temple, then THIS happens...Do you understand you're only making it more difficult for players who started the league later, or aren't playing that much and didn't build their temple yet ? This is sad really, makes me wonder if you play or understand your own game by making such decisions.

Bad take. These patches have almost no effect on those that exploited Holten and are an enormous hinderance to those trying to build their temple now.

Those that took advantage of Holten have their temples built, they get less currency, sure, but they are built and stable and get the necessary locks and have the level 3 rooms. This means instead of getting 50-100 divs or more, they get 10-30 divs per run, while everyone else is stuck spending 200 or more hours trying to build theirs, if it is even possible just trying to keep up with the market.

This creates a currency gap where rich get richer, and casuals are stuck. This isn't difficult to comprehend.

they wont get it cause they never interactet withe the mech. so just shrug on this trolls :)
GGG remove the last changes to the temple and wipe out all the temples that was made with holtan bug
what a bunch of crybabies this community has become xd
THANKS GGG for destroying my last game to play. I overslept whole day hoping when I wake up it will be reverted. I am in EU and weekend is ruined. If you fix tomorrow, its not going to cut we have work on monday. You released patch that kills the game on FRIDAY???????????????
I will try to stay factual and calm.

This league finally did something right. It gave players a mechanic that was fun, engaging, and personal. Building the Temple took time, planning, and effort, especially during the Christmas and New Year holidays when many people invested entire weekends into it.

Yes, the loot was strong.
Yes, some people were printing currency.

But instead of tuning numbers or fixing abuse cases, the solution was simply to make the Temple nearly impossible to build.

Players who already finished their Temples keep farming them with only slightly reduced loot. Everyone else effectively lost access to the core league mechanic.

So the result is not balance. It is punishing late or casual players while rewarding early grinders.

What makes this worse is the irony. We were told that leagues would not be nerfed mid-league. Apparently that promise lasts only until players start enjoying themselves.

The Temple was not just profitable. It felt cozy. Something you built yourself, not just another map to rush through. For once, PoE offered something more than endless mapping, and it was removed in practice.

This is not about free loot.
It is about respect for player time.

Killing a league mechanic instead of adjusting it, especially during holidays, sends a very clear message.

And after this patch, there is simply no more trust in the developers.
some problems require for you to roll back the changes
then take a step back get the full picture .

start issuing refunds, these devs have no respect and no trust anymore
what i think destabilization should do is only remove tier 1 rooms completely, but also downgrade tiers - tier 3 goes to 2 to 1 and so forth and locks can be used on tier 2. this still makes it harder to build, but at least viable to people who want to start from scratch
