Lightning Warp + Ball Lightning not working smoothly in 0.4.0

I was really hyped to try out this build as it looked amazing.
Did my first map after speccing into it, but something just felt off. The issue that is described in here is spot on. It feels awful to cast a dry lightning warp on a full health enemy, when there are perfectly usable lightning orbs right on top of the mobs. It makes the combo extremely inconsitent and very unfun. The random teleports this debuff causes also doesn't help in any way. Just going to repeat some of the suggestions others have already posted. - A seperate button that can only cull/warp instead of applying the debuff. - Some type of priority for cullable mobs/projectiles. - Revert the spell to the previous iteration. |

Yea I really liked how the ability worked throughout the campaign and then the change hit and made it feel super wonky, so just rerolling and hoping they might revert

Yeah, I doubt anyone tested it. From now on, if I'm repeating a build from the prior league, I'll run my last build through a map on standard after the patch hits.

I love coming back each season and tinkering with my lightning orb/warp build but this now feels like trash. As a bloodmage half the time you just kill yourself standing there... |

My feedback on the BL + LW interaction :
I can't properly use the combo anymore. The point of the combo was to teleport inside a pack of monster. Now when there is a BL above a monster I can't teleport to it anymore, meaning I can now only teleport away from monsters My only issue on this topic is the targeting prioritizing the monster above cull threshold rather than the BL. Please GGG change this. |

It's genuinely unplayable. I don't see why anyone would think we want to reapply the same debuff (that does not stack) onto the same boss dozens of times when we could instead be blowing up nearby Ball Lightning Projectiles. I do see some people in here complaining about how jarring it is when Lightning Warp triggers automatically, (usually after I give up trying to use LW on BL projectiles and blast at stuff with Arc so that things die before I do), and I'm suddenly somewhere else and a random mob I tagged several seconds ago explodes. I like the debuff and the automatic blowing up of stuff. I vote that the debuff stays however with a change to the priority of what a single cast of LW tries to do. Right now LW seems to prefer reapplying the debuff to anything else. Like me, and so many others have complained about, this does not seem useful. Sure if you target something that's actually low life, you'll teleport to it and blow it up immediately, but LW already did that perfectly. What I would like instead is the following hierarchy: 1. If possible: teleport to cull (and blow up) the target. 2. Else if possible: teleport to a ball lightning projectile resulting in an explosion that will damage the target now. 3. Else apply the automatic debuff. This way we can still blow up low hp stuff, we can do damage with Ball Lightning, and we can apply the debuff to automatically teleporting us into damaged packs of enemies and potential danger. Which could be fun. I'd find the above ideal but I'd rather take a LW reverted to how it worked last league if the only alternative is the current skill which simply does not work.
