Lightning Warp + Ball Lightning not working smoothly in 0.4.0

No better feeling than trying to cast lightning warp onto a ball lightning that happens to have a pack of mobs right on top of it only to waste your entire mana pool reapplying the warp debuff to a single monster! Please ggg either completely rework this interaction or at LEAST give us the tools to consistently pull off the combo (perhaps a detonate mine like button that allows warp to only be cast on ball or something). I don't mind the change of direction to multi button / combo inputs, but please for the love of god make them smooth and not clunky to play. It just pushes us to reroll to 1 button builds like spark instead.

Fellow exiles, so far the best workaround I've found involves using Frost Wall to create a dead-zone that I can reliably BL+LW into.
It's far from ideal, and not how I want to build/play, but I'm keeping it for now. Most times I can continue chaining LW casts on the remaining BL.. but it's unclear if this is due to the Frost Wall tactic or a bunch of gear/cast speed upgrades. They could actually add targeting priority for skills. For example if object/mob priority is selected then, in Lightning Warp's example it would first target the incoming projectile.

+1 in case GGG actually reads this..
On controller its just awful, standing in the middle of a breach and applying warp on full health mobs instead of blowing up lighting balls until you get swarmed. |

Bumping for visibility
BL+LW was the most fun build ive played so far. this new debuff interaction takes the build from smooth and fun to clunky as hell. Please Revert GGG!!! |

Tried lightning warp and it is very weird. Even without ball interaction, this new delayed teleportation via debuff kills the original purpose of the skill.
First, you cannot see which enemy bears the debuff (at least I can't). Second, with the usual mess happening on screen you cannot control when warp occurs and where it will take you. It could happen at the worst possible moment, dragging you into on death explosions or in the middle of the pack. Maybe it is GGG way of telling us to not use movement skills in their favorite Ruthless mode:) |

Agree @ Echothesis. What's weird about this change is nobody asked for it.. LW was great as it was.
Someone on Reddit suggested this change was to nerf Mjolner's interaction (I'm not savvy). It sounds like it is still awkward on that build, and IMHO Mjolner should probably not be casting a culling spell... it could be that simple. Yeah Rajjin, all of my frustrating moments in this game are due to this change.
BL+LW is so fun; I had other things I considered building, but why not start with something I know I'll enjoy? Thanks for the bump - this is my goal here, too, hah. |

Oof @ senju2rf... didn't even think about controller play.
On mouse+KB, I've managed to make this playable (I'm only 50% thru Intermission, though). It requires some pretty precise targeting and it still makes me rage at times. On controller.. I would almost certainly give up =\ |
