PSA: Check Your PayPal — Found an Unauthorized Xsolla Charge on My PoE Account

This exact same thing has happened to me.
Thanks for the information you've shared. Cheers! |

Happened to me too, just contacted the GGG Support.

Damn, so I’m not alone. It happened to me this morning as well (at 5 AM of all times). I didn’t get any notification about unusual activity from either PayPal or GGG, it just looked as though I had made the purchase myself with my PayPal… for an Early Access to PoE2 that I already own.
I cancelled the automatic payments to them. Two-factor authentication bypass and fraudulent charges, what the hell Xsolla ? (I used the data export like the OG post and... yeah, payment transaction from Xsolla TW...) Last edited by KooriOkami#0528 on Dec 11, 2025, 10:43:37 AM

Chiming in, exact same thing has happened to me today. Some entity in this chain has been compromised for sure.

Add me to the pile. Just found a charge on my account via xsolla for a $30 early access supporter pack that I never authorized.

It doesn't make any sense, GGG support says that they have 2FA built in in such that if you login from a new location there should be an email verification so how is it possible? So far GGG support with the exception of the refund is not being very helpful and putting all the burden on us "you might be compromised", no we're not compromised, GGG please investigate on your end how this is happening. |

I downloaded all my user data from Manage Account > Export Data and the purchase is not even in the history there, only the refund, so the purchase wasn't even done via this website.
There was also a "5 dollar pack" purchase but that is under status "payment pending" so seems it didn't go through. The refund deducted 300 coins from my account as well so basically I am -300 coins from this ordeal. Edit: I disabled Xsolla from automatic payments on my Paypal account now as well, I recommend everyone doing the same at least for now. Last edited by Rawnei#1506 on Dec 12, 2025, 6:22:50 AM

" I just did it, thank you for that. I will edit your suggestions in the OP for others to see. The crazy thing is i never had it in automatic payments to begin with, but it just appeared there with the 30$ they billed me. |
