Bots definitely are there. Its just GGG unspoken policy to not speak about them. But they do ban them in waves.
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

We have been saying this for years. This is the negative side of instant, asynchronous trade. If you ask for this kind of trading, you "have to" be OK with the side effects. Every system has its pros and cons.

If GGG can implement an auction option for item that not sure of the price would be so nice for misprice, like you set the price and buyer choose the bid then a time countdown is set until no new bid confirmed.

" yeah weve sat here for 12 years talking to people who want ah AH pointing out that if we get one then the efficiency of bots in an environment where they dont have to deal with a human who has to leave their map, find an item, send trade etc is going to be insane. they will just snap on items within a second and anything they want they will have, there will be absolutely no way to compete with bots in an instant buyout environment. surely we all knew that was gonna be the price to pay for this? i used to be against an ah for this among other reasons but the afk/not responding plague has got so bad in the last few years that even i have just said fuck it, lets take the hit and just have an AH. this is how D3 was. bots set a floor, anything listed beneath it is instantly snatched and relisted on the floor line for profit. doesnt matter how small the profit is, its a bot, it will flip for a penny a million times its just free money. it was so controlled in D3 you knew where the bot floor was so if u wanted an item to sell instantly u knew the price point where a bot would lift it in a second. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
